A Letter From My Disease

A New Friend

Sarah had enough money to travel to Texas but she had no reason to go there. Neither she knows anyone nor her mom does. But she wanted to travel to Texas. So, what she did was, she tried to run. She never wanted to hurt her mother, and she was confused if that was okay.

She went to her daily work in the cafe. Sarah was acting weird in the cafe like anyone can recognise that her mind is elsewhere. She accidentally poured coffee on Lucas T-shirt but Lucas just said it was okay cause he likes her. Sarah told John that she might not come to work from the next day and asked him to search for a new worker. Sarah planned to run to Texas. 

She searched online for the ticket to Texas. She got the ticket for the evening via flight. She packed only the necessary stuff with her and bought the ticket online. She was scared cause it was the biggest thing she was about to do in her life. Thus, Sarah had no clue what will happen next.

She wrote a letter and left it in her bed. It was for her mom. In the letter she mentioned she is going out somewhere that was important and she was close to it. But she didn't mention the name of the city she was going to.

It was the time. Sarah got out silently, and then she took a cab to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. For the first time, Sarah went somewhere without any permission and she feel like a Freedom. She feel like she had grown now. Sarah got her document printed that was required to get to the flight and she took her seat. The plane was about to take off, then Sarah had something on her mind.

"If I fail now, my whole life will be messed cause no one will ever going to believe me that the things that happened to me was real and I was not mentally unstable."

Sarah was the willing fire at that time. She tried to keep herself calm and hope everything will be ok. In 1 hour and 50 minutes, She reached Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, the airport in the city of Texas. Now she was unknown about anything, she knows no one, nor anything she could do. Now she was losing hope cause it was not as easy as she thought.

She was starving then she went to the nearest restaurant. She picked some fast food and then a girl named Jennifer came to her and talked to her.

"Why are you in a hurry?"

"What do you mean?"

"No, the way you are eating. Is everything ok?"

Sarah had another thing in her mind. She was the first person who talked with her. She wanted to share things with her cause she was not aware of the things in Dallas.

"I am new here. I ran from my home for something I want to achieve but it's hard to believe."

Jenifer was not getting her. She said to her that she work in that restaurant. Sarah was a stranger to her but she decided to listen to her.

Jeniffer asked Sarah to stay in the restaurant till evening and want her to go with her to her home. Sarah had no choice. She did as Jeniffer asked her to do.

In the evening, Jeniffer had her ride to her home. Jeniffer announced that Sarah was her friend to her mom and dad and after that, they went to the room where Jeniffer lived.

Sarah explained everything to Jeniffer and Jeniffer feels like it was the toughest thing to believe. But the way Sarah ran from her home to the way of her expression, Jeniffer took her side. But there was no way that she could find a clue about the diary in the whole of Dallas cause Dallas was not a small city.

Sarah hoped for something to show her the way and then she slept with Jeniffer. But this time, Sarah had another episode of the dream. She was on the road but it had no vehicles. Everything she saw was white and far away in the distance she saw a hill and she was moving towards it. But the thing was still too far from her distance. She tried to run faster and faster. There was a small cottage on the hilltop. She walked towards it. She was in front of the home. As she knocks on the door, Jeniffer wakes her up. She said that She was acting strange like someone does while having nightmares while dreaming.

Sarah explained the things that happened to her. But the new thing was the road, the hills and the house. Sarah saw her diary and there was nothing. 

Sarah wakes up. She got lots of calls from her mom but she never picked it up. Her mom was upset because of such things. Sarah never wanted to let her mom know such a thing.

Sarah went with Jeniffer to her workplace. She was terrified. Jeniffer introduced her friends to Sarah with whom Sarah acted friendly cause Sarah was not in Dallas to make friends. She was way too near her destination.

She accidentally slept in Restaurant. It was the same dream that she saw, A road to the hill with a cottage. She ran towards the hill and made it to the cottage, the door was opened and then she saw a diary in the basement. It was the same room where everything started. But the diary she saw was her real-life diary. She turned the pages and draw the map of the road to the cottage. Then she suddenly wakeup. Everyone in the restaurant was staring at her. Jeniffer was continuously waking her up at the same time. She said she got the answer. She turned the diary and show it to Jeniffer. Jeniffer was shocked by watching that. But none of the people in the restaurant got it. Jeniffer pulled Sarah to the storeroom in the restaurant and talked about that.

After they both went home, Sarah and Jeniffer opened google maps and had explored the whole of Dallas. Dallas had a city called Ceder Hill, she compared the map to her diary and it was exactly the same. Sarah knew she had found her achievement.
