Wolfpack technicians had cracked the encoded messages that the marauders frequently used and reported that despite their recent and extreme loss, a full frontal assault was still being planned. Hunter started laughing when he heard this.

"They've got to be the worst tacticians, worst shots, and biggest idiots I have ever come across!" He chuckled "They were no match for us at the beginning, how can they possibly think they stand a chance, having lost about a third of their forces and their main vessel!".

Nevertheless, on the day the marauders were due to attack every trooper was out, armed, and on guard. The destroyer that had brought the Wolfpack troopers here sat in the mouth of adventure bay. It's name was the HMAS Hellhound and it was three times the size of a normal destroyer, with a formidable array of massive guns. It would annihilate anyone who dared try a coastal attack. Several Wolfpack speed boats zoomed around the towering behemoth like bees buzzing around their hive, and two patrol boats, the HMAS Inferno and the HMAS Devil floated two kilometers out to sea, occasionally moving back and forth.

On land adventure bay's roads had been blocked and citizens had been evacuated to the lookout. Jeeps patrolled and soldiers stood at their posts. Chinook choppers stood by to move troopers to wherever they were needed, and the Howling Commandos Black Hawk along with the Air Patroller, now modified to include armour and weapons, were serving as a rapid response unit. Dominating the gardens in front of City Hall was a trio of massive artillery cannons, ready to rain fire and death upon any attackers.

They were ready for whatever the marauders threw at them.
