Captain America one shot

I'm finally finished with my mission and I was so excited to go home and see my boyfriend, Steve Rogers. I am on a helicopter now with my friend and mission partner, Natasha. While we were flying, all my thoughts were about seeing Steve again. God I miss him so much.

Steve's POV
I just heard from Tony that Y/N and Natasha just finished with their mission and they were coming back to the helicarrier. I've missed her so much. She's been gone for almost 4 weeks and now all I want to do is just see her beautiful eyes and her smile and just have her in my arms. My thoughts were interrupted when the door to my chambers opened. I turn my head to be met with a beautiful sight. I see Y/N with a huge smile on her face and I can feel one spreading across mine as well. I run up to her and lift her up in my arms. She squeals and laughs which is such a beautiful sound to my ears. I put her down, put her face in my hands and bring her lips to mine for a loving kiss. She kisses back instantly. When we pull apart, we meet eyes. She looks at me with a grin across her face and says "Miss me soldier?"
