"Get up Fauna!" I hear my sister scream. Her voice barely reaching the point needed for me to even hear it.
"Why?" I groaned, shifting in my bed to get away from the sound of her voice. It was so annoying in the mornings, the constant screaming of my name. Always calling me to get up, when the only thing I want to do is sleep.
"We have to go to work." She said. "Our new job starts in three hours and you know how long it takes you to get ready." I smirked at my twins sister's words, though I hadn't opened my eyes. She was being funny, seeing as it takes her a gazillion years to get dressed. While it takes me thrity minutes to take a shower and get dressed, it takes her about two hours. With the added thirty minutes of complaining.
My sister and I are complete opposites. Flora is just like what her name means, flower. Delicate, sweet, and shy. The type of girl you would definitely want your parents to meet. In school, she had a straight 'A' average and when we were younger she did ballet. Her dirty blond hair, having more blond than my own, always looked pristine. Flora was the elder between the two of us by a couple of minutes and was the only person I would listen to when things got out of hand. She was the role model between the two of us.
Like I said, I am the complete opposite. I'm the wild child. Doing what ever I please, when ever I please because who could really stop me. While Flora wore skirts and dresses, I wore skinny jeans and t-shirts. Her closet is filled with high heels and flats, mine is filled with high tops and flip flops. I barely gradated high school in the States with C's because I was out partying all night. I've never been one to like mornings, while little miss sun shine thrived in them.
Complete Opposites, but we fit each other.
"I'm up, Flo. No need to take off the covers." I said from underneath the pillow that was covering my face. It was helping me block out any sun shine I didn't want to see, including my lively sister.
"You know, I'm going to do it anyways." She said evilly. After that I suddenly felt coldness drape over me. I laid there feeling freezing because I'm pretty sure I didn't have on a shirt or a bra, just underwear.
"Fauna, when did you get a tattoo?" Flora asked.
"We're 20, right?" I asked my head still buried under the pillow.
"Unless we went back in time or something." She said sarcastically.
"Then, two weeks ago." I said tired.
"Fauna." She whined. "Why did you get a tattoo and what did our birthday have to do with anything?"
It's not real, calm your shit. And I don't know it's to early in the morning for me to process anything. As a matter of fact it's to early for anything to be functioning in life." I said after finally getting up and walking over to my closet to get my towel. When I walked out Flora's boyfriend was there.
I groaned. He just was some loser she met in high school. He followed us all the way way here to London just so he could be with her. Whatever. The real reason is he wants to get in my pants and my sister is the nest best option. Of course she doesn't listen to me when I say that, saying things like I'm jealous. Yeah right. Anyways, his name is Drake. I call him Draco because he's a douche bag. Him and my sister recently stared dating and I already want to push him down three flight of stairs.
"Why are you in my room invading my personal space?" I asked him while yawning.
"I just wanted to say hello. I want to be nice for a change." Draco said, taking a step closer to me. I could smell his stench. He always smelled like olive oil and way to much Axe.
"FLO YOUR BOY FRIEND HAS WONDERED OFF HIS LEASH AND THERE'S A PRETTY GOOD CHANCE HE'S GOING TO BE NEUTERED THE NEXT TIME HE STEPS FOOT THROUGH THE THRESH HOLD OF MY ROOM!" I screamed to her. She was quickly in my room urging Draco to leave saying cheeky things that made me sick.
