Chapter 10

Bright, cheerful and joyful are what come to mind when thinking of a yellow rose. Yellow roses create warm feelings and provide happiness. Giving yellow roses are a way of telling someone how much you value the friendship you share.

Paddy didn't want to let (Y/N) go and he for sure as hell didn't want to stop kissing her. He still didn't know why she forgave him for hurting her like that but he knew he would never do it again. He would never be afraid of his feelings again - not when they meant that he got to be with her.

The two of them stayed in the park for another hour talking, running around the playground and stealing kisses from each other when they decided it was finally time to head home. Putting Tessa on a leash and intertwining his hands with (Y/N)'s, Paddy had this feeling of finally arriving at his destination.

When they unlocked the door, Louis was just walking out of their shared kitchen. His eyes immediately went to the couple's intertwined hands before he started smiling.

"You really did forgive his stupid ass?" He grinned, rolling his eyes.

"Oi! Watch it." Paddy giggled before pulling the girl closer to him.

"So.. first of all, congrats. Second of all, can I use your room as a walk-in closet now orrrr?"

"Oh for fuck's sakes Lou. You don't need a damn walk-in closet.... I do." Paddy laughed but stopped when he earned a bad look from (Y/N)

"You're both idiots." The girl laughed before trying to make her way towards the kitchen to grab herself something to drink.

"Don't leave me." Paddy whined and pulled the girl back into his arms.

"Oh god, that's how it's going to be like now? I'm going to be thirdwheeling for the rest of my life aren't I?" Louis groaned as he made his way towards his bedroom.

"I know some girls you can check out if you're interested in finding a girlfriend." Paddy shouted and started laughing when he saw (Y/N) shaking her head at him.

"Am I now allowed to get something to drink?"

"Fiiiiine." Paddy groaned and watched the girl disappear in the kitchen while he pulled off his jacket and his shoes.

"So, you're going to sleep with me tonight, right?" Paddy asked the girl when she returned from the kitchen a few seconds later.

"What?" She raised her eyebrows when realization dawned upon Paddy's face.

"Noooo, wait! I mean, like sleep... as in sleep? Like actually sleep? Although I'm up for -" (Y/N) put her hand in front of Paddy's mouth, trying to stop him from finishing the sentence he was about to say.

"fkng yu haad." He finished his sentence and (Y/N) could feel him grin underneath her hand. The girl shook her head at the idiot she called her best friend.

"No, promise. Just like sleep together, next to each other... I've never done this cuddling thing, well except for cuddling with you when you're almost shitting your pants while watching a scary movie. I guess, what I am trying to say is that I can't stop thinking about waking up with you next to me and seeing you first thing in the morning - oh goood, when did I become that guy? Nevermind." Paddy groaned as he realized how soft he sounded.

It warmed the girl's heart how Paddy seemed to be opening up to her and accepting his feelings and she didn't want anything more than to fall asleep in the boy's arms.

"Come on, time for bed then." The girl smiled as she nodded into the direction of his bedroom.

"You know, I'm still down to sleep with you, as in not so much sleep." Paddy joked and wrapped his arms around the girl who was walking in front of him.
