Prelude

Scott and the pack have been distancing from Stiles. But not for the reason you might think.

Even Malia has distanced herself. But she won't tell him why.

It all started when Peter inducted Derek into one of the most well-hidden and dangerous gangs in the country. Possibly the world. Only requirement? You have to be supernatural.

From Derek to Isaac. From Isaac to Scott. From Scott to his pack. Allison was accepted on account that she planned on becoming supernatural. And she was quick on her feet and good with a bow. The king of the gang had taken her situation and was still deciding what supernatural creature would best compliment her skills.

There was a reason he was the leader. And had been for years. Most rare supernatural creature alive, he had the ability to make any human become supernatural. But not just any supernatural, the one they were meant to be.

Every human being had a supernatural creature inside them. Some destinies are taken by a bite or a dagger. Most humans had mundane creatures, fairies, or pixies. But they would never know unless someone brought it out. His bite would change them to their true form. What they were meant to be. If that didn't feel right to him he would have an alpha change them to what he deemed best.

When you joined two things were required. An act of Loyalty and a tattoo of a wolf, marking that you were a member now and forever.

After two years of waiting, he finally got the true alpha pack to join. The only problem was their human. He had never met him, son of a sheriff. A sheriff who he had once known. A sheriff who was closer to discovering their secret than anyone else. All thanks to the human boy.

The true alpha pack has brought the matter of trying to get him to join many times. For the first, while he had refused but over time some of their arguments began to make sense. And the most recent revelation about him sealed the deal.

A nogitsune survivor. He had only seen a nogitsune once before. But he had heard of them. A survivor of such a creature was unheard of.

He wanted him brought here. He didn't care if it was against his will or not. No human had ever been possessed by a nogitsune and lived to tell the tale. From what he heard this boy was 100% healed. Not a mark of the nogitsune except the darkness that had surrounded his heart like Scott and Allison. He decided to make it the true alpha pack's job to bring him to him. As their act of loyalty. He also sent along many of his most trusted guards and assassins. He did not want this boy to slip through his fingers.

Scott had been ecstatic when he heard the news that he wanted Stiles brought in. But when he saw the force he wanted to bring he realized that this wasn't going to be like how it was when he and his pack had been inducted. This was a kidnapping. And he was the one who had encouraged it to this point. It was his fault this was happening and everything that happened to Stiles from now on was on him.
