Reed shimmed in bed to get more comfortable, his alarm had been beeping at him for the past 30 seconds. Finally after getting warmer in bed he flung out his arm and punched his alarm. His eyes squinted to see the time, God, only 6:45... He sighed as he rolled out of bed. What day is it? Reed turned his head to the calendar on the side of his room, Only Tuesday. Great all I need. He thought as he walked over to his closet, he threw open the doors to find his suit hanging neatly. He gripped the hanger and pulled it out of the closet and laid it out on his bed. Suddenly a bang came from his neighbors apartment. Reed walked over to the door that connected the apartments together, he opened the door and popped his head out. "Gary? You okay!?" He shouted through the door, there was no response. He ran through the doorway and to the spot the bang was. He saw him holding his breath, and his inhaler in his hand. "Oh, your okay. Thank god." Good thing he was good friends with Gary. Otherwise he would be just like a stranger in his house.

Gary exhaled, "I'm sorry Mr. Belver I-I don't know what happened." He said still leaning up against the wall. "I don't think you should be dying yet at your age. After all you are only 26." Reed said with a laugh. Gary laughed a bit too. "Well that's not my problem sir it's my lungs problem. They don't work well." He said, and laughed a bit there too. "Please, let me listen to your breathing, I'll help you get to the hospital if you need to. I don't want you driving."

"Sure, I won't mind." Gary said with a shrug.

Reed bent down to Gary's lung level, and listened. "Deep breath please." he said. Gary gulped in air as far as he could shove down his throat, after holding it for 3 seconds at least then finally exhaled. "Your good!" Reed said as he stood up from his position and cracked his back. Gary nodded and sat down in a chair. "But, you should still call off from work." Reed said, he started to walk back his apartment. "Thank you Mr. Belver!" Gary shouted at Reed through the doorway right as he shut the door. What a good kid, He thought to himself. Now time to go get in my suit. I'm going to be late to work anyway. He thought.

Reed got to work just in time, he had taken the shorter route that he was unfamiliar with. He sighed and put his work computer down and opened it. He sighed and rubbed his eye trying to stay awake. He jumped when a hand was laid on his shoulder. "Hey! What's up Reed?" The man said. Reed turned his head to face the man, Oh, thank god its only Harry. He thought, "Yeah. Hi there, I don't know whats up all I know is that it is the opposite of down." Reed said, Harry Chuckled his big laugh. "Well, you sure are funny today. Where is the real Reed? Where did you put him?!" Harry yelled, almost everyone looked at him. "Shhhhh-!" a couple of them said but Harry didn't care. All he did was stay next to Reed the whole time. "Don't you have work to do?" Reed hissed at Harry. "Oh, Reed your back! Thank god I thought I lost you!" He said with a laugh. More shhhhhh's spread around the space. Maya walked up to the side of Harry. She was his boss, "Harry, me and you have a meeting now. I told you yesterday about this. I've been waiting for 5 minutes. You really need to check the time more." Maya said, she grabbed him by the ear and pulled him to her office. Thank god, Reed thought as he looked back down to his computer. The sounds of clicking and clacking at computers somehow calmed him. Reed leaned back in his chair. Oh crap!! He thought, I have a meeting right now! Reed stood up from his desk and speed walked all the way to Brett's office. "Crap, Crap, Crap!!" He said to himself only muttering it under his breath. He got to the meeting room with Brett, Cassey and Jim. "I'm sorry I'm late. I had morning problems." He said as he entered the room. "No problem Reed, we all have had morning problems today." Said Jim, He had brown hair and blue eyes, his face gave off a look that is sturdy. While Cassey sitting so beautiful in a chair that it made Reed want to smile. She just looked so beautiful to him, her big brown eyes with her long blonde hair tucked away into a braid.

"What do you think Reed?" Jim said, Reed had been put into such a trance of Cassey that he had forgot all about the meeting. "I-I think its a good idea-?" Everyone in the room stared at him, "So you think its a good idea to Ban women from using the coffee machine here?" Cassey asked. There was a moment of silence, Brett couldn't hold it in. He started laughing and soon everyone was laughing. "We where just making sure that you were paying attention! And you wern't." Brett said as he was laughing. Reed tried to do his best to force out a laugh. There was a sudden knock on the door, and Michael poked his head in. "I heard noise from here, is everything okay?" He asked while looking at Cassey. "No, No we're fine." She said trying not to blush, and the door closed.

Reed was taking his daily walk around the city he lived in, he soon got to the smaller part of the city with houses gathered around in a circle. He took a quick turn to start walking back when he spotted a tuft of pink sticking out of the ground. "What's that?" He thought aloud. Reed started to walk over to the pink tuft.

It was a doll, a doll thrown in the grass its pink dress was sticking up almost like it was waving at him. He bent down to pick the doll up, it had pink eyes and a pink dress. Its hair was silky black with frizz popping out from the sides. "Your cute, I think I'll keep you." Reed said to to doll. It's rosy checks seemed to agree with him.

Reed walked home with weird looks given to him for carrying a doll, some even whispered about it. He could hear it all, and see it all. Soon he got home and plopped down on his couch to watch some tv, Reed clicked the 'on' button on his remote, 'No signal' showed up on a screen for a short bit then it went to the news. Reed watched the news and found that this girl in his city had been haunted by a doll. Reed turned to the doll sitting on the couch beside him, "Are you hat haunted doll?" Reed asked the doll, there was no response, Reed laughed at himself. Why would I find myself talking to a doll? He thought as he stood up from the couch, the doll still sat on the couch when he came back. Reed sighed and sat back down, today could have been a better day...
