My conscious... It faded into black, nothing but a black abyss that you could wander in for hours, but find nothing.Eventually, a bright light shined in front of me, making me run towards the bright light in hope of escaping this eternal darkness.
The light got lighter and lighter and then...
—————
My eyes opened slightly, trying to adjust to the sudden brightness.
After a moment of silence, and re-adjusting, I suddenly realized I passed out on the dirty alleyway after picking up that rock.I sat up and looked around my surroundings. I noticed I was still in my clothes but they were dry now, yet dirty. What I also noticed was that I, y/n was in a different place.
A forest.
It was a forest filled with trees, loads of trees.
Did someone kidnap me and left me here to die?
That couldn't be possible! I lived in a city that was miles away from any forests, actually, there was barely any forests in my city! How did I get here?
I started to panic, worrying about my friends, family, and how long i've been out for. For all I could know, I could be millions of miles away from my homeland!
I grabbed a fistful of my h/c hair, as I was frustrated, confused, and scared.
"Stay calm y/n.. Stay calm... maybe theres a city or town near by, or maybe a river." I spoke to myself as it was a way to try to comfort myself.
I shakily stood up, my eyes widening at the rock that I held earlier.
The rock was.. better? No cracks were on it, no bloodstain and most of all, the clan symbol.
I sighed in relief as it was intact but confused on what the fuck was wrong with it.
I ignored the incoming thought and stuffed the rock in my pocket, deciding to keep it later and to find a nearby town.
'where should I head off too...' I thought before my ears perked up. I heard something, it sounded distant but clear.
I listened quietly and thats when my brain snapped. A river!
I followed the sound of the river, and assuming a town may be around the river. My legs picked up the pace and thats when I found myself running towards the sound of a river.
It felt like a bright light shined its way towards the river, and as soon as I stepped foot on the so called gravel, my eyes sparkled.
I was mesmerized to see a beautiful river that was clean, filled with fish and... two boys hanging at the river?
They were wearing something I was not familiar of, maybe old styled clothing. I wasn't sure, but I could take a guess.
The two boys were throwing rocks, skipping small pebbles across the river. I guess you could say they were challenging each other.
One boy had pitch black hair, that was long and spiky, while the other had brown short hair, but held a depressed face as he seemed to get too offended by the other boy.
"Stop getting depressed!" The dark haired boy said, wanting to bonk the depressed one.
I wanted to giggle at their silly remark, but held it in, not wanting to spook them.
I continued to watch them some more but the thought of home hit me. I got pressed into my thoughts, that I didn't see anyone come up to me.
"What do you think you're doing."
