Naomi woke up early, Monday morning, for school. She sat up in her bed and stretched her arms over her head, hearing the popping of her back. Naomi looked to her right and saw Seiko sleeping on her stomach, the blanket thrown over to where Naomi sat revealing Seiko's half-naked self. She wore a loose white shirt and her black underwear.

Naomi smiled and got up from her bed. She walked to her dresser and picked out her school uniform. Naomi placed it on top of the dresser and walked back over to the bed. She gently shook Seiko awake, along with calling her name.

Seiko mumbled incoherently as she slowly turned her body over, looking up at Naomi, a dopey smile plastered on her face.

"Good morning..." Seiko greeted.

Naomi smiled, "'Morning, Seiko."

Naomi leaned down and pecked Seiko's lips.

"Okay, c'mon, get up. We're going to school." Naomi said.

Naomi walked away and heard Seiko groan. It took her girlfriend a while to finally get out of bed and get ready for school.

Naomi had already gotten dressed and gotten completely ready by the time Seiko was done getting dressed.

Naomi waited patiently for Seiko to get ready. In the meantime Naomi got Seiko's bag and jacket at the door. When Seiko came down, Naomi handed Seiko her belongings. Naomi and Seiko both slipped on their shoes and threw their jackets on. It was late January, so it was still cold out.

The two girls walked out the house and started walking to their highschool together.

Naomi and Seiko walked down the crowded hallway of their school, making their way to their lockers.

Seiko blushed lightly, "I'm holding Naomi's hand at school!" She said happily.

Naomi giggled at Seiko's actions. Naomi secretly liked those little things Seiko did. The way she got excited over the smallest things were the cutest in Naomi's opinion.

Once they got to Naomi's locker Seiko let go of Naomi's hand.

"I'll meet you in homeroom, okay?" Seiko said with a smile.

Naomi smiled and nodded her head.

Naomi threw her jacket in her locker and grabbed her books. She walked to her homeroom, and just as Seiko said, she was waiting for Naomi in her seat in the back of the classroom. Naomi smiled when she saw her friends and classmates milling about. Naomi walked over to Seiko and sat in her seat in front of her.

Just when Naomi turned to talk with Seiko, Ayumi walked up and greeted them.

"It's been a while, hasn't it? Welcome back." Ayumi said happily.

"Happy to be back." Naomi replied with a smile.

"What about you, Seiko? How come you weren't in school?" Ayumi asked.

Seiko looked at Ayumi as if asking, 'Really?'

"You really think I was going to come in without her?"

Ayumi shook her head, "No way you'd come in." She said with a giggle.

"Well," Naomi said, "did we miss much?"

Ayumi thought for a moment, "Well, you've been gone a while, so yes, you have missed quite a bit. I can help you two out if you want." Ayumi answered.

"Yeah, sure." Naomi said with a smile, "Do you want to come to my house after school?"

"Yeah, I'm sure my mom won't mind." Ayumi replied.

Just then Ms. Yui walked into the room, "Good morning, class! Please, take your seats!"

Ayumi walked to the opposite side of the room and sat in her seat, along with the rest of the class.

"Okay, take out your assignment from last night. I'll be coming around to check it." Ms. Yui said.

Ms. Yui walked around the room until she got to Seiko and Naomi.

Ms. Yui cocked her head and said, "Hey, girls we've missed you. Where've you been?"

"We were in an..." Naomi paused, looking for the right word, "...accident."

"Oh, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" Ms. Yui asked.

"Well," Seiko intervened, "I got lucky. Naomi got the worst of it. She lost some of her memory."

"Yeah," Naomi continued, "I don't remember anything after the Culture Festival."

"Well, if you need any help, just know that I'm always here to talk." Ms. Yui explained.

"Of course, thank you." Naomi said.

Naomi and Seiko walked hand in hand alongside Ayumi back home. Ayumi was there to help them out just like she had proposed earlier that day.

"So, you two missed an entire unit of Math, a new lesson in History, and an experiment in Science. You didn't miss much in English, though." Ayumi explained.

Seiko groaned, "Oh, my gosh! We're going to be burried in work!"

"Actually," Ayumi said, "Ms. Yui told me that you don't have to do the homework assignments, which by the way is moat of the work, because of your head injuries."

"Really?" Naomi asked.

"Yeah, she said she doesn't want to overwork you guys." Ayumi explained.

Seiko nodded, "Okay."

The girls arrived at Naomi's house in no time. Naomi unlocked the door and welcomed the girls in. They slipped off their shoes and Naomi went to the kitchen.

There was a note on the counter top reading, "I'll be out late, tonight. You and Seiko go ahead and order food. There's fifty dollars on my nightstand for you.
I love you,
Natsumi"

Naomi wasn't going to order food or anything. She'd probably just make something for Seiko and herself later.

Naomi tossed the note back onto the counter and called the girls up to her room.

They started on their schoolwork immediately. Ayumi explained what they missed and tried to teach them as much as she could. The time came when Ayumi had to leave, though.

Once Ayumi left Naomi and Seiko simultaneously flopped onto the floor where they were sitting.

"That was too much learning for one day." Seiko stated with a groan.

"I know..." Naomi breathed, "But we have to suck it up because if not, we'll fall behind."

"I'm tired..." Seiko whined as she snuggled up closely to Naomi.

Naomi chuckled and wrapped her arm around Seiko's shoulders, burrying her head in the crook of Seiko's neck.

"Me too." Naomi breathed, causing a shiver to run up Seiko's spine.

Seiko slowly fell asleep in Naomi's arms.

I may not remember everything that's happened to us...but I'm glad it did because it brought us closer together. Naomi thought.

"I love you." Naomi whispered.

Naomi then fell asleep next to Seiko.
