You woke up to the sun shining in your face and the sound of blue birds singing. You rolled over to put your arm around your boyfriend Liam, but soon discovered that he wasn't there. "Huh I wonder where he went." You began to to get very curious so you decided to go and look for him, but before you did, you went in the bathroom, brushed your teeth, and hopped in the shower to help you wake up. Once you got out, you noticed something on the bed that wasn't there before. It was a beautiful strapless and flowy white dress with rhinestones on the chest. On top of it was a beautiful rhinestone butterfly barrette, including a note attached to it. You picked it up and read it. "Meet me at the lake wearing this." You looked alittle puzzled then started to laugh to yourself. You knew that this had to be Liam's work. You dried your hair and put on the dress. You didn't have any matching shoes so you thought it would be cute just to go bare foot. You started putting on your make up. You never liked to wear dark make up so you just put on a little mascara, eyeliner, a little blush, and then to finish it off, you applied some red wine Mac lipstick. You straightened your hair, put it up in a cute up-do (any up-do of your choosing.) and then put the barrette in you hair. You checked the mirror one last time, quickly put on some deodorant and a few squirts of perfume (Any perfume of your choosing.) Once you were ready, you ran downstairs, grabbed your keys, and headed out the door. You drove to the lake and you were getting more and more excited every second. Once you pulled up to the lake you got out and began to look around. You and Liam always came to the lake when you were kids, and then one day when you were sitting under a secret cave with a waterfall you two found, he asked you to be his girlfriend, and you couldn't help, but say "yes". Ever since that day, your life completely changed forever. Once you pulled up, you got out and began to look around. You didn't see Liam anywhere, but you did see something taped to tree. It was another note. You took it off of the tree and began to read it to yourself. "You look absolutely amazing, but this is just the first step." "Turn around and follow the trail of white." "P.S, I have to tell you again that you look absolutely stunning." You smiled to yourself holding the note close to your chest. You turned around and saw a trail of white rose pedals leading to the other side of the lake. You began to follow them when you soon realized that they were leading you to the secret cave. Once you reached it, you noticed the weeping willows that were covering the cave's entrance were blossoming with so many pink and white flowers. You looked down to see the trail of pedals going into where the trees were blocking your view. You started to push the floral branches apart with a few pedals falling into your hair. Once you reached the other side, you saw what was absolutely the most stunning sight you've ever seen. It was the same secret place you and Liam found, but for some reason, there was something different about it. The water seemed more crystal clear blue as it was surrounded by weeping willows, white oak, and flower bushes everywhere. There were even dangling vines with flowers attached to them. There were butterflies, humming birds, and bluebirds everywhere. There were even little goldfish in the water. The sun was shining down through a small hole at the top of the cave, making the water sparkle like a thousand diamonds. You were absolutely amazed. Suddenly something caught you eye. It was another note, attached to a white oak that had both yours and Liam's initials that you both carved into it as kids and attached to it was another note. "Your getting warmer." "Follow the stony path and it will lead you right to me." You looked around and noticed a path of stones in the water that led underneath the yours and Liam's waterfall. You began to hop from one stone to the next with all the little fish swimming around you. You noticed another white oak with something carved in it. It was a <3 with both yours and Liam's initials = 4ever carved in the middle of it. You smiled to yourself. As you came up to the waterfall and hopped behind it. Again, your feet touching cold stone. You continued to follow the trail down what seemed like a long stoney hallway. You continued walking, lightly grazing your fingertips along the wall with one hand as you held Liam's notes in the other. Once you reached your destination, you noticed another white oak that had grown to it's full size inside of the cave. Under that oak is where you and Liam made love for the first time. Walking up to it, you saw yours and Liam's initials carved into this oak too. Attached to the tree was another note. You began to read it out loud to yourself. "Turn around." But before you could say a word, somebody had already said it out loud. It startled you at first, but then you suddenly recognized that voice. You turned around to see Liam standing there in a tuxedo holding eight dozen white roses along with a little box. You were in tears from all of the hard work he had put into setting all of this up just for you. He walked up to you, kissed you, and hugged you tightly while twirling you around. You held onto him so tight. Your bodies so close to each other, you never wanted to let him go. Once you pulled apart, he gave you the roses and the small box. " Open it I think you'll like it." You untied the golden ribbon and lifted the lid. After removing the light lavender gift paper you saw a golden diamond heart locket. It had both yours and Liam's initials engraved on the front. You opened it and inside were two pictures. On the left was a picture of you two when you were kids and on the right was you on you guys on your first date together. Liam gently took it out of your hand and clasped it around your neck. "It's beautiful." You said softly. "Your beautiful." Said Liam. You giggled as he kissed your shoulder, your neck, then your cheek. You turned around and kissed him. It was a long and very passionate kiss. You both pulled away leaning your foreheads against each others, looking to each others eyes. "I love you." You said. "I love you too baby." Suddenly he bagan to twirl you around and soon you were both slow dancing. There was no music to dance to. Instead, Liam started to sing "They Don't Know About Us", "Little Things", then "Moments" out loud, but he sang them very softly. He held you close with your head resting on his shoulder. He kissed your forehead very sweetly and gently. "Happy Valentine's Day baby." "I love you so much." He said mumbling against your hair. " I love you more." "Promise me one thing?" "What's that my love?" "Promise me that you will love me forever." "I promise to love you forever." "Forever and Always."
