I yawn as I roll around, trying to find a comfortable spot in the bed. Suddenly realizing I wasn't in the cotton sheets of my own home but the silk sheets of someone else's bed. I pried my eyes open to find myself in the dark silk sheets of an unknown bed. Well actually it wasn't unknown, I was all too familiar. As I sat up and stretched, I looked over to see a sleeping Jimin beside me. The memories from last night came flooding in.
"You know we probably have to leave right?" I giggled, "I mean the sun is coming up and I can't leave Jin watching the boys all night." I pressed my back into Jimin's as we stood together looking out at the city, the sun peeking over the skyline.
"Jin took your brothers home a few hours ago," Jimin laughs quietly, "Don't worry your aunt is home."
"Still feels like I should have been there." I swayed in his arms.
"Well you weren't," he laughs, "It's fine to have this one night for you."
"I suppose..."
"Good," He spins me around in his arms, "I can't believe you actually agreed to go on this date with me."
"I can't either," I smile as he presses our foreheads together, "You're lucky."
"I guess we need to go..." I sigh as I pull apart from him. We take the walk to the elevator, waiting patiently to go down. I found myself holding his hand and leaning on his shoulder. It was comforting to be with him like this, something I haven't felt in so long. I felt him peck my head as the elevator finally arrived at the bottom floor. We walked out silently, holding hands into the crisp air. Before I can mention getting a cab Jimin speaks.
"Stay the night with me?" Jimin blurts out.
"Oh..."
"That was too much wasn't it?" He sounds nervous, "Sorry."
I tiptoe up and press my lips to his cheek, "I don't mind."
"Oh..." Jimin said. We stood a little awkwardly watching the street before we turned to look at each other again, "Can I kiss you again?" Jimin blurts out and instead I press my lips to his.
Realizing the irrational choice I made last night, I move quietly to get out of bed. I realize I'm wearing Jimin's t-shirt and nothing else and my heart jumps, remembering every moment of last night. I didn't want to leave suddenly, I sat on the edge of the bed watching Jimin's chest rise and fall softly as he slept. His brown hair covered his forehead. I wasn't able to stop myself before reaching out and brushing it away from his forehead. The corners of his mouth twisted upwards before he opened his eyes.
"Good morning to you too." He smiles, stretching his hands above his head, his 'nevermind' tattoo peeking out from under the covers.
"Oh good morning," I retract my hand, standing up, "I really have to go."
"Running so quickly?" Jimin teases.
"Jimin I know what happened between us was good but I really shouldn't have. I have to go." I look for my dress on the floor, tossing my hair into a messy bun. I take my clothes and head to the bathroom to change.
"So now you want to put your clothes on in private but were begging me to take them off in front of the driver?" Jimin teases, sitting up.
"Shut up."
"It's true," he laughs, "'Please Jimin'." He mocks me.
"You're such a jerk." I scoff, changing quickly, "Where's my phone?" I smooth out the cocktail dress from last night while looking for my clutch, shoes, and phone.
"Here," Jimin holds it up, "It was tangled in the sheets."
"Thanks." I roll my eyes, snatching it before finishing getting ready to leave. I glance at my phone and see I have multiple missed calls from Stella. I wonder why she was calling, "Hold on I have to call Stella."
"Alright," he nods, getting up, "Don't leave without saying goodbye."
"Whatever." I roll my eyes and exit his bedroom, dialing Stella up.
It rings for a few moments before it connects, "Finally you answer your phone!"
"What do you need?" I slip a heel onto one foot while listening to her.
"You're news."
"What?" I raise an eyebrow, slipping the other heel on.
"Dispatch caught you..." She pauses, "Well Jimin and you but no one knows who you are..."
"What?" I shout, "Send me the article." I put her on speaker as I wait for her text message. There it was, an article titled 'BTS' Park Jimin spotted with a blonde woman late last night!" and there was a picture of us climbing into the back seat of the car before we got to his apartment.
"So?" Stella starts, "Did you spend the night with him?"
"Stella not the time! How do I get this article taken down?"
"Well," Stella pauses, "I don't think you can without exposing that it was you out with Park Jimin, right now you're just some girl..."
"For how long until someone finds out it's me?" I snap.
"Well..." Stella pauses, "Did you sleep with him? Like ya know-"
I cut her off, "I don't have time for this Stella." I roll my eyes, of course, she's obsessed with the details, "I have to go talk to Jimin and then go home."
"Jimin!" I shout, as I come back into the room to see him on the phone, I sit on the bed and watch him pace nervously, talking to someone quickly about what I assume was the article. I watched him listen and nod along with the phone call.
As soon as he hung up the phone I spoke, "We can't see each other anymore. I can't get wrapped up in your life as an idol. I don't want to be around all the fame. I can't do that to my brothers they need me right now."
Jimin frowns, "What?"
"Last night was amazing but I think it's best. Don't call me, don't come by my house." I stand up, "It was fun while it lasted."
"Ana," Jimin looks heartbroken, "I don't want to do that."
"We have to." I snap, "I knew you were going to eventually get me all caught up in some stupid drama like this and now I have to pray my little brothers don't get involved. So save it."
Jimin's sadness seems to turn into a bit of anger, "Fine but my manager needs to meet with you sometime this week to work on damage control."
"Fine text me the details of the meeting and the meeting only." I snap back as I make my way out of his apartment.
