"I dare you to... go into Piper's swimming pool and hold your breath underwater for two minutes and then get a dunk. And you have to do it in freezing ice water too. Six bags of ice!" Thalia declared.

Percy froze. 

My heart dropped.

Piper's face looked shock.

Jason's eyebrows shot up. 

Leo looked as if he was cursing himself for not thinking of that one.

Annabeth's mouth opened in surprise.

Grover's face turned into a worried look. 

Frank looked at him curiously. 

Hazel looked confused.

Silena's face had turned pale.

Beckendorf looked furious.

Travis and Conner thought it was funny.

Reyna gave a 'whoa' expression. 

"Okay, that's gone way too far," Piper said. 

Thalia shrugged. "Aren't you a swimmer?"

Percy nodded and mumbled something others couldn't hear. But since I was the one beside, him I heard him. 

He said, "I was."

My heart broke for him. "That's not fair, Thales."

The rest nodded. "No way! That's amazing!" Leo said, holding up his hand for a high five from Thalia. 

Thalia high fived his face. AKA slapped his face. 

"Ow!" Leo whined. 

"Shut up, Valdez." Thalia snapped. 

Silena broke the awkward silence. "Thalia, don't you think that's a little extreme?"

"Nope!" 

"Do it, Kelp Head." Thalia ordered. 

"Can I skip?" Percy asked. 

"No!" Thalia said. 

"Please," Percy said desperately. 

"Sorry, bro, we've already used up all of the skips," Leo said. 

"No. Please?" Percy tried. 

"You don't have to do it," Grover told him. 

"NO! He has to! We already used it up!" Leo said. 

Percy was looking uncomfortable. I knew he wouldn't even be able to last 10 seconds without breathing.
