First day of school "GREAT" I said to myself as I put my hair up in a messy bun.
"Chanel Kyler Lynn get your ass down here" my mother yelled.
"Yeah yeah yeah quit yelling" I said walking down the stairs.
"What did I tell you about that thing on your face"
"Piercing mom"
"Yeah that thing I don't understand why you insist to keep it in"
"Because I like it Mother, Bye got to go or I'm going to be late" I said as a grabbed my car keys.

"Cece look at you "gloing up" how was Cali?" said Kylie my bestfriend, making sure she put finger quotes around gloing up.
"Nah you're crazy, it was fun to be honest I was surprised" I said with a smile looking myself up and down.
"That's good" she said smiling, her smile changed to a grin "Maybe You-Know-Who might notice you this year" she said as she wiggled her eyebrows.
"Yea No" I said with no expression.
"Okayyyyy" she said in her sarcastic voice.
"I got to go to first period bye" I said walking then waved.

*Smack*
Great I ran into someone already.
"My bad" said a very attractive voice.
I looked up and gasps "Zayden?"
"You know my name? You look new" he said eyeing me down.
"I was in all your classes last year" I said bluntly.
"Oh sorry Chica" he said and walked in to the class I was in.

"You all highly ignorant students may call me Mr. Waler" our new language arts teacher said. "Now you all will be paired with someone that I believe you'll do well with for the whole year, NO you may not change."
"We're defiantly going to get paired" said Kelly as she smacked on her loud ass gum.
"Whatever" Zayden said looking annoyed.
"Zayden" he looked up to find his arm "ok and Chanel good you're both here."
"Uhh teacher sir ya can't let him pair with her" Kelly said.
"Well Sweetie you need to get with someone on your English level which isn't that great" he said slowly so she would understand.
Zayden laughed.
"I ain't no stupid girl" she said to the teacher.
"I'm not stupid" I corrected her but louder then I thought.
"Betta get out this convo" said snapped.
"Leave my class Kelly now" Mr. Waler said as he pointed her to the door.
*Slam*
Mostly everyone jumped.

Class was almost over.
"One thing you all should know is your grade effects your partners. You two are basically one person in this class. Understood?"
All you could hear was moans and groans throughout the classroom.
"I take that as a yes" he said and dismissed us.

"You got paired with Zaydennnn" Kylie sang.
"Shhh keep your voice down god you're so loud"
"What I'm not aloud to be happy for you?"
"What is there to be happy for??" I asked.
"Never mind are you going to eat that string cheese because my fruit bowl didn't have that kind" she said eating on her red apple.
"Hey, sorry to bother you but since we're partners and my grades affect yours. I was wondering on days we have homework do you want to pair up before Lacrosse practice or after but I'm really tried after." Zayden ask as he interrupted our conversation.
I mean at least he said sorry which is kinda cute.
"She'd love to" Kylie basically squealed.
"Well see you after school" Zayden said walking off.
