felix and jack were dating for a while and felix decided that this date will be special. they were going to a cinema on a movie that jack wanted to watch but never had the opportunity, then a romantic restaurant in the centre of the city and at the end they'll go for a walk in the park.
at the park, felix is going to do something that will definitely change their lives, maybe to better, maybe to worse. but felix knew that he had to do it. he just hoped that maybe it's the right time. that he wasn't the only one feeling the way he felt.
there is a high possibility that jack will cry or be sad or angry but he had to.
"alright, i'm ready, we can go," jack's voice pulled him out of thoughts. jack looked at him, concern obvious on his face: "are ye alright, babe? we can stay home if yer not feeling well."
"no, no i'm good- i'm fine, just lost in thoughts- yeah... yeah..." felix replied, rubbing his face to calm himself down and to shut down the thoughts "what if...". jack still didn't look satisfied with the answer, so felix picked him up and spinned them around, making jack giggle and stopped looking concerned. felix pulled him closer by him waist and kissed him. the kiss was sweet and jack liked the way felix's beard and mustache were scratching. he was slowly getting more and more used to them. they pulled apart a few seconds later, jack went on his tip-toes and petted felix's white hair. he was honestly so handsome with the white hair and "viking beard". he liked him without it too but like honestly, he'd like felix even if he had bald head and scarred face, so...
anyway, they went out of the door, locked it and went inside their car. felix drove because jack still didn't know how to drive, so he would probably kill them if he was the one driving.
"you really need to learn how to drive," felix said from the driver's seat. jack looked at him and as he was caressing felix's cheek, he whispered: "i'm fine with ye being me personal driver."
felix laughed, jack doing the same and then he commented: "sweeting, i can't really say no to that."
jack grinned, leaned in and kissed felix's cheek. felix purred jokingly, making both of them laugh. jack always liked it that felix and him had the similar sense of humor because it wasn't hard for them to make the other laugh.
jack looked out, trying to remember when did he post his last video. 'was it monday? or maybe thursday... no, no, it was definitely wednesday. and did i tell robin to post the video i sent [PRESENT ME: I'm sorry, I forgot what are Robin's pronouns, Robin came out as trans woman and said that Robin would use he/him but I saw that it's she/her and I'm confused, so I'll just use Robin's name as pronouns, again I'm sorry. If you know, please comment, thanks.] robin?'
his thoughts were interrupted by felix saying: "dear passengers, we have reached our destination."
jack giggled at him and then they both went out of the car. they walked to the cinema and before entering, they bought snacks and seats.
after they got everything they wanted, they ran into the big room with seats and quickly found their seats as the movie began to start.
the movie was a horror the was written by a famous writer, jack's favorite writer and when he heard that a movie was out, he wanted to go and see it so bad. even felix himself had enjoyed books by the author, even though he wasn't really a reading type. the movie was scary and felix was thanking to his past-self that he bought a couple seat, which were practically two seats merged together. they were cuddling, jack was comfortably seated in felix's lap, eating his popcorn and occasionally when he was scared, holding felix's hand in a death-grip and trying to cuddle closer to felix.
felix didn't mind the position and honestly if they weren't watching a horror, then he'd have a hard-on by now. he caressed jack's hip and kissed him on his neon green hair when he felt jack tense up.
it always calmed jack down and felix felt him relax. he wasn't really watching the movie, he just thought about what he planned to do, about the box with a ring in it. he wanted jack to be his forever but he didn't want to push him into something he didn't want. maybe he was fine with them being boyfriends.
but maybe jack felt the same. felix stopped when he felt jack turn around, so his legs were pressed against felix's thighs, his back facing the movie and his hands were on felix's shoulders. felix looked up to see jack already looking at him dreamily and lovingly. "fe, what's the matter? are you okay? you seem... distracted to me."
felix smiled and pulled jack in for a soft kiss. he then answered: "of course i'm distracted when you sit on my lap..."
then the position they were in, reminded him of how jack rode him on his birthday that was just a few days ago. he blushed and looked jack in his eyes. he was so beautiful, felix knew he had to do it now or he won't do it ever.
"jack, i wanna ask you something," felix started, now grabbing the box but not moving it out of his pants pocket.
jack let out a sound that told him that he was listening, so felix continued, taking the box out: "i've planned to do it in the park but i have to do it now."
he took a deep breath. "jack, the love of my life, my other half, we have dated for so long and known each other even longer and i love you so much. would you make me the happiest man in the world and m-marry me?"
a single tear left jack's eyes as he took my head in his hands, caressing my cheeks while nodding and whispering: "yes" all over again.
this was honestly the best day in their lives.
well, third best, first being their wedding day and second their first night as marrieds ;).
