Your P.O.V

I woke up in the same room I remember I passed out in
Nothing changed, nobody came and it doesn't even seem like someone looked for me
Oh well

I slowly pulled myself up by my arms into a sitting position, only to see my form still shake from what happened earlier
The king truly is a cruel man. I'm worried he might do this to the heirs...

As I finally got myself to stand up after a few failed attempts, I went to leave the room to hopefully get some aid
Of course, I don't think I can mention what actually happened- that would only get me in a deeper water than I am now...
And for what reason am I in this water again?

I walked straight thought the halls of the Todoroki residence to the kitchen- in order to get some ice and a handkerchief where else would I go

The sun was close to setting, but there is still like an hour or two to go
But the light truly makes the garden look breath taking with the variety of roses there is
I've noticed that the Todorokis have a big connection to roses. Even in their sign is a few of them

The current family was built upon the marriage of the ice and the fire kingdom a few years back when I wasn't born yet
It wasn't for power, nor money, it was from love... and partially power.
The queen is a really kinky woman...

Finally, I got to the door that led to the kitchen. There was chatter to be heard behind the it
Aw man, there will be a plenty of questions... I just hope that the king isn't-

I opened the door and my eyes immediately fell to the large man I didn't want to see

I chuckled nervously, seeing that the whole family is gathered here
All the eyes were on me. Yet the king's made my feel the most pressure of all as if the other eyes weren't there

Tōya jumped down from the counter he was sitting on for whatever reason and ran up to me
"Y/n! What happened?! Are you alright?" He asked as he grabbed my hands in a worried manner

I looked at the king as he glared daggers into my poor soul

I chuckled and sent the boy in front of me a reasuring smile "yeah, I was just cleaning around and I fell down the stairs. I just came to get some cold water is all"
I tried to get my hands from his grip with no luck. His grasp was too... Caring? Worried?

He looked into my eyes and stared for a second
He probably knew that was a lie, but then he just nodded and gripped me even tighter "then you have to be careful next time! You could've gotten badly hurt!"
I nod as I saw the queen put Shoto down into Fuyumi's arms. She came over to us as she peeled Tōya off of me who didn't look too happy about it

She cupped my face as her hands radiated comforting cold
"Let me cool down those bruises for you, it'll be faster than using cold water"
I nodded and thanked her as she traced over every bruise with her gentle, cold fingers. She is nothing like the king

Talking about the king, he seemed pleased with me not telling the truth to Tōya. Yet as he looked at me and I looked at him, he mouthed the words 'be careful' as a warning
I nodded with it going unnoticed by the queen somehow

When she seemed to be done, she pulled away and sent me a sweet smile "all done, don't work too much and be mindful not to hurt yourself again"
"Yes your highness, thank you" I bowed

Now that I'ma looking at it...
"Have you already eaten?" I asked and the queen nodded
"We've had lunch like two hours ago. Since then we've been just talking in here"

Why didn't they call me? Maybe they-
Oh... The queen knows what Enji did, doesn't she..

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it. I'll make it up to you during dinner time" I let out an exhausted sigh
The king stopped leaning against the counter and walked towards the back door to the garden "I'll skip" he said simply
I hummed in response

The queen stood up and walked to retrieve Shoto back who was seemingly asleep since I came in
"I'll skip too. Besides, I already told your mother to make a meal for me and Shoto earlier. I would not want to bother you" she smiled and pat my head as she grabbed the doorknob to leave also
"Be good kids, don't stay up too late. It was nice to speand time with you today" with that, she left the room

Tōya waked up to me again and wrapped his hands around me
"Y-Your majesty-" I tried to push him away but he just wouldn't budge
"I know you didn't fall Y/n" he whispered into my ear so others couldn't hear it "it was my father wasn't it?"

I froze on the spot
So he knew it after all

I nodded and a sound similar to a growl made its way out of his throat
"Why did he do it? You didn't do anything bad. Was it about earlier?" He asked and i nodded at the last question

He let out a sigh and his hug thightened "don't mind him. He is and was never a good man. He's rotten, he doesn't see the good or the potencial. He only seeks out perfection, it doesn't matter to him if he has to go through a field of bodies to reach it"
I hummed in response, finally hugging back and giving in

He can't be cruel forever right? He won't repeat this action again right? This was just in the heat of the moment right?
Shall I have my faith in him?

"A-Anyway, what would you all like to have for dinner?" I asked the heirs
