~Reading in the Dark~ (XingQiu)

        You glanced outside your window, sitting on your bean bag seat. It was pitch black outside and your bestie, XingQiu, was sitting by your side, a book nestling itself in his hand.

        You've harbored romantic feelings for the blue haired male, despite him being your BFF. The serene expression he wore when he read, too how you felt holding his hand, there was nothing to not like about him...except him ignoring you by reading his book.

        "Hey Xingqiu..?" you said. Xingqiu glanced up, still wearing a calm expression.

        "Hm? What do you need, Y/N?" he raised an eyebrow.

        "Do you mind...if I read with you..?" you scootch your bean bag chair next to his and place your hands on your lap. 

        "I don't mind, honestly Y/N. It's a good book after all.."  he placed his arm around your shoulder. The sudden physical interaction made your face bloom with pink quite a bit but you kept your cool and started to hear him read his book aloud for you. The owls that nested in the hollow outside your window hooted out. All these sounds blurred into a haze as you lay your head on his shoulder and closed..your...eyes...

        As the last word of the story rolled off of Xingqiu's tongue, you were fast asleep.  Your head laid on his shoulder, your hand holding onto his arm. 

        What is this feeling? He thought to himself. Slowly, he felt accustomed to your warmth and placed his chin on your head. This mixture of feelings made him feel this way and this is why he was doing these things. He wasn't mad though. He probably should rest as well. So he let his head lay on yours and he slowly but surely..fell..asleep..
