there is a disease known as medusa, it starts of in a parasite called leasp. leaspes look like a giant rolly polly crossed with a dragon fly. they began to form collonies here in the united states 10 yrs ago in 2010, and with it being 2020 were in a time of dispear. the leasp will attach themselves to they're prey and began to take control over there immune system. and when that happens, well lets say theres nothing more to do. my sister and i have lived together without our parents for over 3 yrs now, and its been rough. my dad died 4 yrs ago in a nuclear bomb explosion in japan, and my mom died 1 yr later from cancer. emma couldnt do anything for she was only 8 at the time, and well me being 13 and the oldest, it was hard. emma has long blonde hair, she is slender and has bright blue eyes. while i have brown hair, not really skinny, and has murky (almost black) eyes,
emma works hard everyday to make sure we have a omecook meal, and i work hard everyday out with the men of this town. hunting the leasps. leasp are pretty easy to find if you know what your looking for, and what im looking for is that sweet little humming sound they make with there wings. (bzzzz) *whats that?* askes stan our group leader. "i'm not sure." replies trek, hes the look out.
*well what do you think crow?" trek & stan ask in union. (by the way thats me) i listen carfully searching for the hum, for the slightest sound. and there it is the sound of humming loud and clear. "its them all right, and must you call me crow? my names alisa you know." i say almost irritated.
"sorry but you'll always be crow to us, crow!" trek said teasinly. "ya, besides that names to girly for you anyway. crows a much better name for a skilled hunter like yourself!' stan says with hand geatsures. (sigh) "what am i gonna do with you guys?" i ask almost laughing.
"hmm" trek says. "love us with all your heart and marry me?" "sorry i decline!" i reply pointing my gun towards his head. "calm down both of you, and trek dont even think about it shes way to young for us!"
"ya, ya but shes strong, good with a gun, and is even cute to boot! you cant blame me for trying." trek half pleaded. (heh) stan alwasy has my back, and well trek he always there for a laugh. weve been together for the past 3 yrs now, and they've become part of the family, with me and emma.
"hold on." i say, with them almost immediatly stopping. "what is it?" askes trek.
"im not sure but.." not even 2 seconds pass by when the leaspes attack. there were 5 of them and only 3 of us. i was handling 2 of em, with trek with one and stan with the other 2. "where the heck did these come from!?" trek askes while fighting off the leasp attached to his arm.
"probally heard you screaming in fear of a mouse up the river!" hollard back stan. "what!? no way!"
10 mins later trek and stan killed all theres, while i only killed one. "crap!" i say frustraded. "the other got away!" i yell throwing my gun to the ground. "well you know what they say" say s trek. "you get some you lose some, but they all come back for another day. we all laugh and as im heading home, i notice somthing was wrong. the trees were all scratched up and there was a big hole in the middle of the road. "crap!" i yell running towards home. trek and stan were trying to keep up with me, but i was faster. when i got home there it was. the leasp that got away on emma!
"get the heck away from my sister!" i say in the most threating voice. the leasp obeyed but it was to late, she had allready started to become paralyze. stan rushed in and shot the leasp, and trek tried to pull me away from emma. i shoved him away and screamed for him to go away.
emma reached out her hand and touched my face, and said. "i love you."
and that was it, she was there for a min in my arms and then she wasnt. dust flew out around us now as i cried. stan had to carry me to home base where trek and him stay. they knew that i was going to be blood thursty now and that i was going to get it no matter what.
