Lucifer Morningstar is a lot of things, handsome, kind, funny, a god (pun intended) in the bedroom and as much as he hates to admit it, jealous. Especially when it came to Chloe.

they had been in a healthy relationship for about 6 months now, he had proposed to her 1 month ago, of course she said yes... who wouldn't? Chloe chose to wear her ring on the bullet necklace because the necklace had so much meaning, lucifer thought his heart was gonna explode when she told him. they had small arguments here and there about his jealousy, Linda told them it was normal so they didn't need couples therapy but if it continues they could always talk to her, they never did. Until today. 

today was no normal day at the precinct, there was a detective helping them with their latest case. it was a about a man that was the victim of a serial killer. the killers MO was (TW: gruesome description) slitting their victims throats then throwing them off of buildings and cuts their tongues out. they have police have been trying to catch them for 3 weeks now.

The detectives name is John Danimin. As much as Lucifer hates to admit it, John was very handsome, he had mid length almond brown hair and green eyes, a clean shaven face and pale skin, he was a bit shorter than lucifer and his body build was slender, he looked like he was a surfer. all the female and queer uni's in the precinct were all gushing over him. he was nice to everyone, but to lucifer not so much, he was religious, usually religious people never had a problem with lucifer, except for john.

they had a new suspect that they are gonna interview. when lucifer went to sit down in the interrogation room, John pushed him away and sat in his place. Lucifer didn't say anything because he didn't want to start an argument so he just left it be.

"So mister Denzel, do you have any information on your brothers death?" Chloe questioned. the suspect replied with: "the only thing i know is that me and my brother were gonna meet up at the movie theatre, when he didn't show i called him, he didn't pick up so i got worried. he didn't live very far from the theatre so i went to his house to check on him, i walked a few blocks and that when i found him, mangled on the ground because of what that monster did." 

Chloe nodded, her gut was telling her that he was innocent but she had to make sure. "Hey Lucifer, do you have anything to ask?" lucifer took the hint and stood at the side of the table, he bent forward and asked the suspect what he truly desired. "i- i want to find out who killed my brother and give them what they deserve." the had a confused look on his face.

"pff, i could have easily gotten answers out of him" John said, "i'm sure you couldn't." lucifer told him as he stood straight. John got up from his chair and walked past lucifer with a scoff.

when the three of them were back at Chloe's desk they sat down. John sat next to Chloe, he was sitting too close to Chloe for lucifers comfort, he decided not to say anything. "i'm gonna get some coffee" chloe said as she walked past john. john turned his head to look at chloe as she walked over to the precinct kitchen, he had a small smirk on his face that didn't go unnoticed by lucifer.

lucifer got up and followed behind chloe, when they arrived at the kitchen lucifer started talking. "Detective i need to talk to you, i dont really like John, and i know he doesn't like me either." "Honey, i'm sure john is just having a bad day." chloe told lucifer in attempt to comfort him. Surprisingly... it didn't work.

"Well he also clearly has a thing for you." Lucifer clarified. "lucifer... are you jealous?" he didn't answer, he looked away from her eyes. "i think its time we go to Linda about your jealous behaviour, this has been happening a lot." she told him with a gentle tone.
