Unbreakable Marriage

Chapter 1

"How many times do I have to tell you, I am not marrying him!"

Minaka looked at her stepfather while she yells at him after finding out she was engaged to a male she had no feelings for. She knew of the male because they went to school with each other. She was sixteen years old and he was eighteen.

"Well you have no choice, This marriage will pay me back for you living here rent-free."

Did he just say she was living there, rent-free? This was her mother's house and before it was her mother's, It belonged to her father. If anything he's living there rent-free. As Minaka was about to say something her mother walks into the room holding the youngest child of the house, a baby boy.

"Is there a problem?"

Minaka's mother asked a bit tired. She knew her mother was not aware of this marriage plan her step-father put together. Her mother had been sick and tired from caring for the new baby.

"Honey, Dear, Titania, You should be in bed, after all, You are not feeling well, The doctor said if you wish to be strong by the next two weeks you need to rest up."

There he goes being Mr.Sweet talk. This is the reason mother has no idea about his plans, Minaka takes her bag and heads off to school. She was going to tell her friends about this. On her way walking to the building a car pulls up next to her.

"Aren't you that Minaka kid."

The voice in the car calls out. Minaka kept her head straight, She was not about to address a random person as she is walking to school. Well maybe if she gets kidnap she might have to get married. She stopped and looked at the male in front of her.

"Who is asking?"

She noticed the male in a black coat and jeans. By the look of his car, he was rich or at least had money. She observed his car and say a name that shocked her 'Johnson', the male responded

"I am the eldest son of the Johnson family, Does that name ring a bell, Well it should. Seeing that your last name will change to Johnson soon. Listen I do not want people knowing I know a nerd like you. So in school, Do not speak to me. OK?"

He said this as if he didn't approach her. She flips him off and walks going towards the school. She was not about to sit there and let someone bad talk her. As she walks she felt something cold hit her back. When she turns around he had thrown his cup of water on her.

"Sorry, I thought you were a trash bin, Oops."

The car drives off and she heard a girl laugh from inside the car. Minaka stands looking upset and annoyed. Her outfit was wet, She didn't have extra clothes, but she was almost at school and to turn back now, she would be late. She opens up her bag and found the lunch money she had. 

"It's enough to buy me a dress..." 

She walked to the nearest clothing store.
