I walk onto set, my head in game mode. The minute my feet hit the pavement I'm her, its like the sound of the waves just transforms me, or maybe its the director screaming
"action!"
Who knows? I begin to run, Rudy, JD and Madison all following in quick pursuit. We weave inbetwen people and small stalls set up along the street, I duck round a corner followed closely by Maddie.
"Cut! Okay guys so we are going to get a few other angles of this scene and then we will move onto a couple of earlier scenes. " he announces.
Having been an actor for a few years now I've learnt never to expect to film anything chronologically. The cameras are re-set and we take our positions. It goes like this for a while, re-taking out places continually, one minute the director likes the takes and the next he doesn't.
About an hour passes before he is finally satisfied, we are then all shoved into the back of a Land Rover and driven to the next location we will be filming at.
The three of us stand around a tree as Rudy presses a metal rod into a carved out heart on the trunk.
"action!"
Rudy steps back and we all take a 'swig' from the cans of 'beer' in our hands. Maddison turns to me, a tear sliding down her face and burries her head in my shoulder.
" cut! "
Maddie sniggers and pulls away from me.
"Alright! Alright, let's keep our composure shall we?" The director snaps slightly.

The sun is begging to set so we head back to film the rest of the scene sequence from earlier. After a few attempts we do a pretty decently take, the director wraps it up and filming is over for the day. FINALLY!

We all (JD, Maddie, Madelyn, Rudy and I) go back to Chases apartment, the windows are open causing a cold breaze to flow through. We all sit on the sofas and floor chatting and discussing the days work, a heated but joke filled debate breaks out between JD and Chase about whose day was harder.
"No MINE was cos incase you've forgotten I'm sposed to be DEAD!" Chase sasses
"Yeah well I had to fake cry infront of everyone and that shit is embarrassing!" JD protests.
"Yeah but almost your not DEAD!" Chase protests before I cut in.
"Look let's just agree to disagree, I really don't wanna waste the evening arguing." I point out and the two of them shut up. Though soon enough conversation begins to flow again, this time it is that of a typical converse between a group of twenty one and twenty two year olds. Drinking and laughing about whatever subject becomes topic of conversation.
At some point during evening somebody suggests we go for a late night swim. We leave the apartment complex and run across the road to the beach opposite. I jump down onto the sand below with a laugh. Soon followed by Maddie B and the others, we run down the beach laughing and yelling to one another.
I'm the first to reach the water, I tear off my shirt and shorts, leaving me in my underwear. I sprint into the water shocked slightly by its cold temperature, though soon enough I warm up and am joined by everyone else who begin splashing water at eachother.

It's now totally pitch black though my eyes are well enough adjusted that I can still make out the figure of what I think at first is Chase walking towards me but soon grow to discover it to be Rudy. I can't see his face in the low light but I smile to myself feeling his gaze rest apon me.
"The rest are heading back, come on." He turns his back to me and crouches slightly. I hop onto his back, wrapping my arms loosely around his neck and he begins to carry me out of the water, bending down to pick up my clothes from the sand. I hadn't really noticed how tired I was until I was in his warm embrace, I run a hand through his wet hair as we catch up with the others.
"You two would be so cute together." Maddie says poking Rudy in the chest.
I laugh, glad that it's dark so no one will see the blush that is now flooding my cheeks.

A.n I know this first chapter is short but I needed to set up our characters and get the story flowing. Hope this isn't to quick or rushed.
