"Is it necrophilia if I'm attracted to a ghost?" Kou mumbled, leaning over to look at his apparition friend.
"Wh- Yes? Or no- Isn't necrophilia corpses? Why does it matter anyway-?" Mitsuba asked, seeming confused.
"Just asking!" Kou said quickly.
"Why?" Mitsuba let out a small gasp of realization.
"Do you have a crush on the toilet perv?!" Mitsuba asked, his eyes shining with malicious intent.
"Wha- No. That flush bucket is a friend. I'm pretty sure Senpai likes him more anyways." Kou drifted off.
"Then who? Are you asking for your older brother?" Mitsuba wondered.
Kou felt his heart pound. This was the perfect opportunity to tell the apparition how he felt. It was easy, all he had to say was 'Actually Mitsuba, it's you. I like you. A lot.' He'd be turned down, and that would be that. Easy. But instead he panicked and responded with;
"Wh~at-?! I don't have a crush on anybody. I just wanted your opinion.! And Akane-Kun isn't a ghost. Nii-San knows that." Kou defended.
He missed the opportunity again, made himself look stupid, and was being suspuisious about it. Wonderful. Mitsuba glanced at the flushed Kou and nodded skepticly.
"Whatever you say.." The pink-haired boy mumbled, and went back to taking his pictures of birds.
