First song recommendation because I keep forgetting to add them is

Sparks- by Coldplay

Let me know if you end up enjoying the recommendations and I might just add some to the older chapters.

These songs are just some I listen to when I'm writing the chapters and make me feel more connected to the characters. Songs I feel fit the scene as well. So enjoy!

"Mam, can you open your eyes for me?"

I was in a daze, at the edge of falling into a deep sleep but with all these voices I couldn't get a moments of peace.

I feel my eyes being opened by a nurse as she shines a light in them.

"What's you're full name mam?" She asks and I can hear the accent in her voice.

Fuck. I can't have social media talking about how I was in the hospital and assume Tony's Starks sister is going through a mental breakdown or something. They always think of something.

"Jane..Darlene..Barnes," I spit out before I could stop myself.

"Alright Jane, I'm going to need you to stay awake for me honey. You can't go to sleep we need to ask you some questions first to make sure you don't have a concussion."

I try my best to open my eyes as they start checking my vitals. Anything you can think of checking, at least here they did it. My blood pressure, my oxygen, my temperature.

It wasn't long after that they took me to get a pet scan.

I was thankful that I could just lay down still for a bit without people poking and prodding at me. I know it's their job but damn.

It took a while but when they were done I sat back down on the wheelchair and they rolled me back into the room.

I was happy to be away from the bright lights and they laid me back down on the bed.

They gave me a whole rundown about how so far everything seems fine while they patched up the scar I had on my head from the impact.

I knew I was bleeding.

They told me they're just waiting for the results of the PET scan and then they'll come back.

At this point, my eyes were wide open but I couldn't help wanting to pass out right here.

"Ok."

They left and I forgot to ask about Bucky.

A while later a woman came in. I recognized her uniform to be a nurse's uniform.

"A man left this for you. The one who brought you in," she says with a smile handing me a note that's folded up.

"Do you need anything? Another blanket? Water?"

"No. I'm fine. Thank you," I say with a smile.

She smiled about to walk out before I stop her.

"Wait!"

She turns around looking back at me.

"Did he leave? The man.."
