Chapter one; the invitation

Twilight’s P.O.V.

 Me, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow dash, Apple Jack, and Pinkie pie, were having a nice summer picnic on Sweet-Apple-Acers. It was about noon and I was starving. So I took out a ham sandwich from the picnic basket.  The wind made my purple and pink bangs fly in my face. I noticed that each of our outfits matched our personalities. Apple Jack was wearing a orange plaid shirt that was tie in the front and a tank top under that, denim short shorts, and as usual her cowgirl hat and her golden hair in a ponytail off to the side. Fluttershy was wearing a yellow sweater that went off both shoulders and covered her hands up, a yellow skirt that went down to her knees, sandals, and her pink hair had a butterfly clip in it. Rarity had a strapless white dress, high heels, a purple diamond-encrusted purse, and her purple hair was flying in the wind, and she was screaming at the wind to stop messing up her hair. I giggled a little, and then she looked at me and rolled her eyes. Rainbow dash was wearing a blue and white work out tank top, red and blue gym shorts that barely past her thighs, she had rainbow colored tennis shoes, blue knee high socks, and her rainbow-colored hair was in a high pony-tail. Pinkie Pie was wearing a light pink t-shirt that said ‘Fun!’ on it with a big yellow smiley in the middle, pink knee shorts with cargo pockets in them, I could tell the pockets were stuffed with balloons and streamers, pink converses with hearts on them, her crazy pink hair was standing straight up. I was wearing purple neck tie shirt with a long tie down the middle, a purple school skirt, and a hair band in my straight hair   Rarity gasped with despair, and let out a strong British accent, as usual ,“OMG, please tell me we didn’t forget the napkins? Oh no, out of the worst things that could happen… this… has… to… the… worst... possible thing!” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes “Oh brother...” Then rarity waved her hand and a red leather couch came out of nowhere with blue magic surrounding it like a force field. She fell backwards on the couch with her hand to her forehead making a moaning sound. Applejack And Rainbow Dash faced each other and started covering their mouths to not make a loud laughing sound. Pinkie burst out laughing. Rarity looked over at them in a confused way “What I need to wipe my mouth afterwards, because I’m a lady” she said that very proud. Then Fluttershy went over and whispered something in Rarity’s ears. Then Rarity looked up at her very pleased and nodded. Fluttershy walked to the edge of the picnic table and whistled. I was confused for a second, until I saw Angel the bunny hop up the hill, she ran to Fluttershy’s feet. The girl could TALK to animals! She whispered something in angels cute little bunny ears. Then Angel hopped off, just like that. Rarity sounded pretty relived, “Thanks again Fluttershy!” Fluttershy spoke softly and looked down at the ground “No problem.”

Then all six of us finished our meal, I was so full and relived just to be with my five best friends. Then I heard loud and obnoxious footsteps, trudging our way. I looked over to see Spike, my assistant. His green hair was flowing in the wind while he ran. He looked worried. I spoke “Oh, god what does he want now?” Spike wore a purple and green t shirt, green shorts that went to his knees, purple, old and used vans. He stopped at an apple tree a few yard away from us. Spike was heavily breathing. He put one hand on the apple tree, the other on his chest. As quick as Rainbow Dash was she sprinted to him to see what was wrong. The rest of us rose, warily. When Rainbow got to him she stopped and asked what’s wrong. He was still coughing, “Give… this… to…Twilight!” “Okay, sure buddy” she patted him on the back and sprinted to me. She handed me a fine sheet of paper with cursive writing, looked like Princess Celesta’s handwriting. I read it out loud, “I’m sure you all know about the upcoming wedding, exciting right? Since all your friends are coming, I want to help with planning and making the whole wedding possible. Pinkie pie I want you to help with the wedding activities.” Pinkie did a cartwheel and said “Yupp, yuppie, YEAH” I continued “Rainbow dash I want you to do a triple rainbow flip while the bride and groom say the: I do’s. Fluttershy I want you to be in charge of the music. Rarity I want you to make the dresses and the décor. Applejack I want you to cater the wedding. Last but not least, Twilight you will be in charge of the whole thing, making sure everything goes as planned. Hope to see you all at the wedding!  -Princess Celesta” I was so confused! “But, but who’s getting married?” about the time I said that Spike was at the picnic blanket. Spike blushed and handed me another piece of paper. I raised my eyebrow then I lowered it. I should’ve not been surprised; Spike does this sort of thing all the time. I opened up the scroll, and read out loud. “Princess Celesta invites you to the wedding of Princess Mia Morea Cadenza and-“I gasp “MY BROTHER!”
