In which playing two characters deeply in love makes their own fate destined to be with one another

Madelyn, Maddie and I all set off early doors to go out on the boats. We are meeting the boys there, they went out to the grocery store to get a few things. We get into our boat and begin to drive out into the marsh where the boys are waiting. Our boat pulls up next to theirs, they are currently blasting Chase Atlantic and diving off their boat into the water. Maddie tugs off her shirt and jumps over the side of the boat and swims toward the boys who are in the midst of a in-water, water fight.
We've been filming for a few weeks now and due to how close everyone had become on during season one we all stayed in contact during our time apart and even hung out on a regular bases, to be honest its the closest cast I've ever worked with. The 'Pogue' group especially. The girls and I have made this pact that as soon as we are able we are all getting an apartment together.
I pull my shirt over my head and kick off my trainers, jumping in after Maddie. Everyone is now in the water swimming about and splashing one another. Which slowly descends into an all out battle, boys vs girls, we win OBVIOUSLY! I grab Drew my the shoulders and dunk him, as he resurfaces he mutters.
"That was a mistake." And grins.
He grabs me and tosses me away from him, splashing down not too far away. Drew flashes me a cheeky grin and begins to climb back onto the boat, I hold out my hand as if asking him to help me in and as he takes it I tug hard causing him to flail his arms frantically as if doing so will somehow prevent the inevitable. And soon enough he tumbles forward into the water with a large and rather amusing splash.
"I can't believe he fell for that!" I laugh.
"Nice one Danny!" Chase high fives me.
As we climb back into our boat. Drew shoots me a sharp look before breaking out into that oh so familiar cheeky grin. "I'll get you next time parker!" I give him the finger out of jest and grab a beer from the cooler.
We spend a few hours out there, just lounging about before Rudy seems to revert to his teenage self and suggests a game of Truth or Dare.
"Fuck it! Why not?" I laugh and everyone agrees, Rudy starting off.
"JD! Truth...or Dare?" He says in a mysterious tone.
Who raises an eyebrow before saying "Dare!"
Taking a sip of his beer Rudy jokingly scratches his head as if in mid thought and says "I dare you to jump into the water fully clothed!" Rudy smiles looking triumphant .
"Okay! Bet!" JD seems confident
He pulls his phone out of his pocket and hands it to Chase before falling backwards, his arms out at either side, into the water below. We laugh as a very soggy JD attempts to climb back onto the but his new, both wet and heavy clothes causing some issues. Though eventually, with the help of Chase and Austin he is hauled aboard. He sits back down with a squelch and rips off his sodden shirt.
"Okay, my turn. Austin, truth or dare?" He asks ringing out his shirt.
" Truth. " Austin grins.
"First celebrity crush?" JD asks
"Uhhh, probably like Emma Watson." Austin finally comes out with.
My eyes widen "Dude! I literally worked with her a few years ago!" I blurt
Everyone looks at me in shock.
"Seriously? You've never mentioned that beofe " Austin asks a look of disbelief playing on his face.
"Yeah, was an extra in Little Woman and shadowed the director." I smile, a little bout of pride growing in my stomach.
"That's so cool!" Maddy B says.
"I know right?" I laugh.
For a moment everyone is totally in awe of me, and then the moment passes and the game begins again. Drew turns to Madelyn and says. For some reason the game isn't really being played in a liner fashion but no one seems to care all that much.
"Mads, truth, or dare?"
She grins, "truth."
"Who was your first kiss?"
"Ooo, Johnny Gates, 4th grade. It was all slimy and he kept trinna feel me up. Like dude we're 10!" She laughs.
I try not to but a snigger escapes my mouth and soon enough everyone's laughing. This last a good few minutes before it calms down and everyone is able to catch their breath. Maddie looks at me.
"Danny, truth or dare?"
I smile, for some reason feeling brave, "dare" I say without hesitation.
Her face lights up as if she's just had the greatest idea, ever.
"I dare you to kiss RUDY!" She beams.
The whole cast ship us at this point, because of how close we and our characters are.
I blush a deep shade of red but none the less, get up from my seat and walk confidently toward Rudy. I hide my shaking hands by reaching out and lifting his chin so our eyes meet. I lean down and press my lips against his, they're so warm and...inviting. For some reason my whole body urges to linger, but I dont, I pull away and walk slowly back to my seat without so much as a word.
"WHOOOO!" JD suddenly says who seems to have been awfully quiet since his previous dare.
"DUDE!" Chase pipes in, highfiving his friend.
Who has now turned a familiar shade to what I had been prior. I smile at the ground before moving swiftly on.
"Maddie B! Truth or dare? Don't think I haven't noticed you trinna avoid it you sneeky lil bastard!" I laugh.
"Oh shut up, just cos I don't wanna reveal my SeAcReTs!" She jokes.
"Dare."
The game continues with some pretty extravagant dares and revealing truths, though we learn alot about one another, things we hadn't mentioned in previous months.
