Nas POV:
I woke up the day after I saw Chris beating Mani. That shit really effected me. I texted Mani's phone.
Me: Wyd today?
Mani: I gotta go to cheerleading practice at 2, its over at 9,hbu?
Me: Where?
Mani: 16 and Walnut.
I didn't reply, I have a surprise for her. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs and sat on the couch. I gotta make some phone calls.

Mani POV:
It was around 12 in the afternoon. I had to be to practice at 2. I hopped in the shower for a good twenty minutes. I got out and wrapped a towel around my body, then dried off.
I walked into my room and started getting dressed. I put on my sweat pants, a sports bra, with a white t-shitr that said Wildcats and my cheer sneakers. I did my hair in a messy bun and put a red cheer bow in it.
I grabbed my car keys and walked down the hall to my little sister's room. She cheers too. I haven't talked to my mom after that whole thing with Chris. And yes, Chris is still living in my house. "You ready?" I asked peeking my head in her door way. "Yeah, but I cant find my shorts." She said, while rifiling through her cheer bag.
"They're right here" I said, picking up the black shorts and handing them to her.
We walked downstairs and walked out the house. I unlocked my car door and got in the drivers side and Jayla got in the passenger's side.
I plugged my phone into the aux cord and turned on Truffle Butter by Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne. Jayla and I rapped the whole way there. Thinking out loud, I could be broke and keep a million dollar smile. LOL to the bank checking my account, banker teller flirting after checking my account. Prettt lady are yoh here? Truffle butter on ya p*ssy, cuddle buddies on the low you aint gotta tell ya friends, that I eat it in the morning.
I turned down the radio as I pulled up the the building. As I got out the car, I turned around and saw my ex boyfriend, Marcus standing next to his 4 year old niece. "Hey Mamas" I said addressing her. "Hey Mani" she said in her little voice.
"What you want?" I said finally talking to Marcus. "Why you had that nigga all up in my face?" He said aggressively. "Watch ya mouth uncle Marc". "My bad Zur" she ran around the car to Jayla. "I didn't, he was being a real man and protected me". I said in defense of my boyfriend. There was an awkward silence.
"Well, I'm sorry about cheating on you and I still love you." He said while dropping his head. "Awe, thank you." I said sarcastically.
I grabbed my duffle bag and walked towards the building. Jayla was already in the building doing flips with Zuri.
I walked in the gym and signed all three of us in. I have been cheering with the Wildcats since I was like 8.
I took off my sweat pants and shirt and slipped on my cheer shorts. I walked over to my bestfriend, Ava.
"Hey Mani" Ava said. "Hey Ava" I replied. I knew Ava since I was in kindergarden and she my partner in crime. Seriously.
"I heard.." She said then stopped. "What you hear?" I asked. "I heard what Marcus did." She said.
"Oh you did, I don't care though. I got somebody else" i said confidently. "Who?" She asked excitedly. "This boy named Nasir, I met him at the basketball court" i said.

Nas POV:
It was around 7:30. I drove to the flower shop and ordered 2 dozen of white roses. I then went to Gennaro's, the pizza shop, and ordered a sasuage pizza.
It was now 8:45. I pulled up to the gym and parked infront of Mani's midnight blue Accord. I waited until she walked out.
I swear this girl looks prettier everytime I see her. Even though her hair was messy and she was sweaty, she was still attractive.
"Nas?" She asked in shock. She looked down at my hands and saw the roses. Her eyed filled with water and she began to cry with happy tears. "Are these for me?" She asked.
"Who else would they be for?" I said. "Don't get smart, but thank you so much" she kissed all on my cheek and she had a nigga blushing.
Her little sister walked out the gym while holding another lil girls hand. Jayla's mouth drooped open.
"Who this?" She said walking over to us. "This my boyfriend, Nas" Mani said motioning to me.
"Oh well I'm gonna let you be great I'll meet you at home." She said walking away. The little girl walked over to some guy and jumped in his arms. It was Marcus.
"I got you something" i said. "Oh god, nomore surprises"she said.
I walked to the car and pulled out a black bag. I handed it to her.
I took one of the bundles out her hand. She reached into the bag and pulled out a long black box.
"Whats this?" She asked. "Open it". She did what I said and opened the box. Her mouth dropped open.
"Its beautiful, how did you get this?" She ssid while holding the 2-karat diamond necklace with a "A" on it.
"I got my ways, but put it on". She lifted up her hair and i put the necklace on her.
Her phone started ringing. She looked at the caller ID but ignored it. "Come on I wanna take you some where." I said.
She slid into the car and put her duffle bag between her feet and looked in the back.
It was the pizza. She looked even happier. She thanked me and kissed my lips. She then pulled the box of pizza on her lap and went in on the pizza.
Man, I love this girl. I thoght as I drove towards Mani's house
