Enemy Kingdoms (Colt Grice x Reader) (Attack on Titan)

(Chapter 1) -Settling in

The only things lurking in the air were must, sweat and groans. Your arm hurt, and you knew it would be easy to get through if you had been able to steal your wound off, but still, not here, not now.

You turned to Eren, a man a little taller than you, with brown hair growing long on his head and face.

Someone you had only met some time before, was now with you and something one would call a "Suicide Misson." The scouts, who you are working for and have been for four years, were the head of this mission.

Marley: Only a couple days ago, you two settled into "The New World," Marley, specifically, Libreo, Marley.

You were the only woman around, and there was a line of injured men who came along with you from your home land of Paradis.

It was a very shocking fact to everyone that they would let a woman on board into a new land. Some men even tried to pick on you for being weak. Little did they know, you held one of the world's greatest powers, the power of one of the ten Titans.

The Titan you are currently holding was given to you when you were fourteen years old, and you worked alongside your "Father" almost exactly four years ago.The frightening "Kenny the Ripper," or just "Kenny," as you knew him until he died.

You didn't know much about the man you called your father, but he brought you out of the Underground District right away. Below the wall, Sina

Wall Sina? One may wonder here, in Marley, how many know about the three-hundred-meter tall walls surrounding almost all of Eldian Blood, far away in the middle of Paradis Island.

We're from Paradis, which is what many refer to as the Underground District, or what you refer to as Hell on Earth. There, crime was everywhere. It was a very dangerous place.

Underground, you had always dreamed of seeing the sun, but it was so poor there, there was no way to even imagine you being able to smell fresh air or see the clouds.

This dream was practically dead until you met Kenny. The man raised you, since you grew up all alone, always wondering who left you alone.

Kenny started working for a well-known man, or the King of Eldia at the time, who was working against the Scouts.

Shit happens, and you are forced to become a Titan, something you had only recently learned about at the time. They turned you into the monster known as the Future Patterned Titan, a beast that could only be given to an Ackerman.

That word, Ackerman, held no importance to you until you learned what one could do. Kenny turned out to be one, and the head of the scouts, Levi, is one. Few people know how to use your Titan, and even fewer know it exists, but that's beside the point.

You have had this power for many years now, and the scouts use it to their advantage. Since you and Eren are both valued Titan Shifters, of course they would let you come to Marley as part of the plan for an attack.

These men, Marley, know nothing.

You

have been standing outside for an hour or so, in a single file line, right behind Eren.

On your arm was a giant wound, and right above it was a gray wrist band holding a white nine-legged star.

You were all walking alongside a building's wall, and everyone around us seemed heavenly gloomy.

Uncharted land was always scary, but it was never new to you. It was only four years ago that you first saw the sky, after all.

Some time went by, and a young boy looked at your line, making eye contact with each of you, and when he met your eyes, he wide fed them, making you gasp.

Eren kicked your ankle, making you stop.

A man ahead of you had fallen without your paying attention. and two others helped him get back up.

All the men in your line looked older than you and Eren. Both you and the man hadn't reached twenty yet, making this whole mission even scarier.

"BOOM!"

Half of the men fell, including Eren.

Apparently, some of these men fought in the Marlian military and just got done with a major battle. They all must have had significant trauma from it.

All the men falling crude made you fall on your arm, and you gave a loud shriek of pain.

All of them hovered down and covered their ears.

You slowly sat up and rubbed your arm, and placed the other one on Eren's shoulder in comfort.

It's okay (Y/N) to worry about yourself, "said the shaken up Eren.

You nodded.

The child who you met eyes with before ran to the first man to aid him and then walked over to you two.

"Your band, it's on the wrong arm, sir, and I'm sure you're okay, you won't have to fight anymore," said the young boy with a sigh.

"Btw, I saw you ma'am! I'm just confused. I've never seen a woman in any of these lines before. "

Your eyebrows deepened, "I know it's a weird thing, but I'm obviously here for a reason, kid."

The young boy petted your arm gently and said, "Are you sure, there shouldn't be a woman here? Besides the warrior cadets, a woman shouldn't be fighting. I'll tell my commander and I'll let you get home! "

You gave out a little giggle to calm nerves and gave out a little smile, "Oh child, I'm quite offended. You don't think I can handle being here? After all, I'm probably one of the strongest ones here. "

You gave him a wink, making him blush and shake his head. "No! I didn't mean that at all, I just don't think it's right, because I'm not sure how a woman did anything wrong in the first place, at least something so bad that they end up here. "

"Don't worry about me, kid; I'll be fine; we should hurry up and get to the hospital anyway," you sighed.

The young boy smiled and got up, "Well, if you need anything, miss, I'll come by to help at the hospital!"

The boy ran up the road.

"Gentlemen, it sounds like it," Eren said in a calm voice. "He's not getting anywhere with that niceness."

Well, Eren, "you replied, whispering," he could help us on our mission. We have to get into contact with the scouts to make a plan. He could always help us send letters to the post office.

You stayed in that little line till it got dark.

A nurse finally came around, and led you guys to a hospital near by that was used for Eldian soldiers.

"Here ma'am! Here's your room. Just press a button if you need anything! ( Oh, and also, my name is Julie! What is yours? "

A nurse opened the door and showed you a hospital bed, and right next to it, deep red roses and a little radio.

You smiled sweetly at her, "Just call me Pat." Using your "patterned Titan" and shorting it.

She smiled back, "beautiful name, isn't it, Pat? Breakfast will be served tomorrow morning. Have a good night's rest. "

"You, too," you said.

The nurse closed the door and you heard a faint whisper, "I thought Eldian men were ignorant and weak. I can't even think about a woman."

So much for a nurse whose job is to serve the Eldians, huh?
