late nights with the TRio

it was late at night. team rocket had previously been blasted off, and were currently in the woods, lying under some trees, trying to get to sleep.

'jess, can you sleep?' whispered james, whilst meowth and wobbufett lay asleep next to him.

'not really...' was the reply james got.

'ok, well uhm... you mind if i talk to you about something real quick?'

'i- sure :)' jessie smiled at him, in a way that soothed his broken heart, almost like some sort of drug. (i didnt know what to put there so i guess its just gonna sounds like james is on heroine or some shit)

james sat up. jessie did the same

james waffled, ' i was just wondering... theoretically if, i asked you out... would you say yes?'

'...and why do you need this information?' jessie questioned

'oh uhm... me and meowth are... doing a thing were... basically uhm... we have to ask people as a joke to uhm... go on dates with them...' james lied

'i can tell youre lying, jim. youre not very good at hiding it.'

'heheh...'

james was terrible at lying, and jessie knew this. what made matters worse for james is that jessie was really good at sensing emotions and feeling and all that good shit (not so good for james tho)

'well, james, there is only on answer to that "theoretical" question of yours...'

'i-.. say it then i guess??' 

james was stumbling on his words. he was so scared of what jessie was going to say. what if she said no?? would they still be friends?? he hoped so.

'i love you, james <3' jessie winked at james, putting her arm around his shoulder.

'i- i love you too jess...' james said, turning a bright red colour in the face.

jessie leaned over to james and put her forehead against his. she loved him more than anyone or anything she had ever loved before. the same goes for james

'i really do lo-' jessie said, but was cut off by james, who had put his lips against hers as she was speaking.

after about 3 seconds, their lips drew apart.

'i love you too jess,
