Alright. This is the house I'm pretty sure.
Kid thought stopping outside of a small house. It was a rather dirty one blooming with urban weeds all over the front lawn. He looked down at his given package marked with the logo of Applesoft and a sticker listing the address of whomever ordered this package.
He looked over at the house's mailbox, closely examining it through the slight muddy debris latching on. Shortly, he found it matched the address on the box.
Yep, this is the house.
Although he could just leave the parcel on the door stop or in the mailbox and leave, he was told to personally deliver this to the purchaser. He knocked on the door awaited it's answer.
A sudden wave of ferocious barking was heard from the inside. The noise was shortly hushed by a voice possessed by a grown male. A man with an unkempt appearance opened the door and looks down at Kid and then at the package he had in his arms.
"A package. From Applesoft." Kid said lifting the package to man's face. The man picked it up and carried it under his arm. He then grabbed a rather large wad of cash and handed it over to Kid. The young boy looked down at the cash wad in awe.
The man before closing the door muttered, "Thanks boy." Then shuts it in Kid's face.
. . .
The bell rang as everyone stood up from their desks and ran to their cubbies to grab their lunches. Once they were excused, they had made their way outside to eat except for a boy who goes by the nickname, Kid. He walks out of the classroom with nothing but an apple and took a stroll around the school hallways choosing a place to eat.
All his friends were either excused or absent, it didn't seem be bothering him much though because he knows they are capable of protecting themselves and each other. Plus, he was used to doing stuff alone. Though, it would be nice to have some company.
Aside from that, Kid continues too look for a place outside. He shortly stumbles across a bench near the dumpster on the side of the building and decided this would be a good place to sit down.
As he munches his apple, he starts to think of how he can fill his bookshelf of Monstermon cards. Thankfully, none of them suddenly disappear after joining this school. However, he didn't collect many cards from his last school, the only cards he had were the ones he earned after missions. So, not a lot.
He was scrambling different ways to try and earn his cards but couldn't think of any efficient ways to earn cards, most of his ideas had outweigh by the drawbacks or possible unforeseen consequences. He wanted to find a way to earn these cards rather quickly and efficiently. He sighed deeply taking another thorough bite of his apple.
"There you are Kid!" A sudden voice picks up Kid's attention.
Kid looks up at a rather tall figure with vivid blue eyes look down at him with his hands in the pockets of his new red hoodie.
"Hey Ted, Cool hoodie." Kid said a little surprised to see him wearing something not so formal. Ted smiled at his comment being pleased to be wearing his new hoodie as well.
"I know right? I've finally convinced Felix to let me wear this for today! :)" Ted responded happily. "Oh yeah, speaking of Felix." He added. Ted pulls something out of his pocket and hand it to Kid.
