"So, what you mean to tell me is FAB5 accepted the offer even after knowing about the penalty? Aren't they being a bit bold, taking a step like that?" Aru asked Abhi who was still slight red with what happened back then.

"Yes, but it might also mean, they don't know about us." Abhi said clearing his throat.

"I'm gonna go and complain to Arya about this. How can they even accept the offer?" Nandani said, puffing her cheeks in annoyance.

"Isn't that because they are probably your fans?" Ishaani asked walking in to the room after making the kids fall asleep.

"Fans!?" Nandani scoffed.

"I mean, you guys are pretty old in the music industry and almost everyone heard about you guys atleast once in their lifetime. Plus FAB5 is also in music industry so they probably heard the legendary stories about you guys." Ishaani said, shrugging and sitting down beside Armaan who immediately wrapped his arms around her and buried his face in her neck.

"Can you guys just not do that here, in front of us?" Abhi said making a face.

"Go get your own girl to do these with her." Armaan teased Abhi. Abhi just rolled his eyes and had a smile on his face.

"Don't they know D5 is us?" Nandani asked wondering how in the world did fab5 agree to work with them, without ever seeing them or meeting them.

"Do you think uncle Mehra told them about us?" Aru asked once again.

"I don't think uncle told them about us. Uncle would never leak our information plus what Ishaani said, makes sense." Abhi said with a deep thought lingering in his mind.

"So does that mean we will have to reveal ourselves in order to work with them?" Nandani asked not liking the idea that someone, Fab5 in particular will know their biggest secret.

"It will be all professional, baby doll." Abhi reminded her once again.

"Ya, even if we disclose our identity, we will make sure they sign up a contract that says they aren't allowed to reveal our identities to public ever." Aru said looking serious.

"I guess. If you say so, things should be fine."

While Cabir and navya were busy doing their couple things in the bedroom, so was Druv and Alya. That left with Manik and Mukti.

Manik has been locked in his room all day practicing his guitar which left Mukti to be all alone in the living area making her be by herself.

As she was all alone, her mind wondered to those days where all of them were just in college. Life was smooth back then. She didn't had to worry about adult stuff or all the miscommunication errors. All she was expected to do was be herself and study well.

When did the time pass by so fast, she wondered?

Back then, when she was dating, her life was a mess. Her ex-boyfriend was an abuser. Be it, physical, mental or sexual. He just loved the abuse. It took a great deal to put that bastard in jail and to move on in life.

Back then, when she was finally out of the disastrous relationship, she wowed to herself that she would never fall in love and would be vulnerable to any guy. Yet here she is.

She remembered the first time her eyes landed on her professor, Abhimanyu.

Something about him just made her get attracted to him. Slowly, gradually even before she knew it she was head over heels for him. She still is. But that doesn't mean she was going to forgive him so fast.

Though she loved him so dearly, though she knew he might have his own reasons, though she knew that Nandani would always be his first priority, she just can't get herself to move on. What happened in the past between Manik and Nandani has happened. There is no changing.

But, Abhi should have atleast communicated with her once. Just once.

No reply to the emails, changing his phone number, even leaving the country all together was just too much to handle. The only way she could feel closer to him was read the newspaper. See his pictures along with the others.

It hurts, but she is willing to forgive him if he is sincere towards her.
