Stairway to heaven

The Stairway

The light was obscurred by fog, it seemed like there were no life forms just dirt and fog. But out of the thicc layers of fog a girl whit short brown hair came out. She looked arround herself, it seem she losted herself inside the strange land. "Hello is anyone here?" The girl repeat ed this word's over and over but no one responded to them. Scarred and sad she started running in random directions. She kept running as tears flew out of her eyes, but in the moment where she lost all hope she bumped into something hurting her forehead. As she looked up she saw something that looked like a rusty Stairway, whit the face still dirty she looked up searching for the end of the Stairway however she wasen't able to see it. After looking a bit more realizing there was nothing better to do she tried to climb it. The feeling of rust was pretty uncofortamble but she still tried to climb it managing to reach a pretty high place..... Well from her perspective she did so even if it was just a few meters from the ground. She kept climbing as tears slowly feel to the ground the started to disappear in the fog of the place. As she continued to climb the stair the temperature keeped getting lower to a point where it was freezing the face of the kid still wet from tears, but even in that state she continued to climb the stairvase which continued to get colder and colder. At one point a strong wind arrived toward her making her almost lose the grip of the rusty Stairway. The wind made showed a piece of her leg that seemed to have a completely balck point probably from hitting something, after looking at it she wondered how she could have hurted her leg like that and just continued climbing toward the sky.  The temperature started rising again making the place a bit more comfortable than it was before, the fog still covered the sky and nothing could be seen beyond it. It was like someone just created a Stairway and put it there whitout a meaning. Lost in her tough the girl didin't realise that the temperature there was getting hotter and hotter, she started to notice just when her skin started to become red and extremely hot. She could feel fever was coming to her but she didin't care and just continued thinking that it would hav ejust disappeared lije before, however the heat kept rising until she started to feel her skin burning and let out a scream of pain before continuing to rise as her hair started to fall down. After several minutes of pain she managed to get out of the heat zone where she could feel her whole body burning and only some of her hair remained. As she continued to climb the Stairway she could feel that the power was slowly leaving her but thanks to the Burns she received she managed to remain conscious enough to climb up the Stairway. The fog kept getting thiccer and thiccer until the girl wasen't even able to see the staircase anymore, but as she exited the fog a light pierced trough the fogd and shine on her eyes. She managed to overcome the fog and reach the sky, she was surrounded by an infinite blue and from here she could see that the stairway was leasing to what looked to be a cloud. Whit a smile on her face she tried to reach the cloud just to realize something, the stairway was now covered in sharp spikes. She was unsecure if it would have been worthed to continue rising but at this point she pushed herself too far and after taking her courage together she stabbed her hands and feet int he spikes to continued climbing as tears overflewd in her eyes and blood wetted her dress. As she continued climbing a glimpse of her memory returned an hand arriving toward her face slapping her and someone grabbing her by the leg whit an extremely strong grip. After that feeling she could feel something climbing the stair aswell, the fog would disappear revealing strange black horned creature climbing the stairway aiming for her. As she saw that she continued to climb the stair hurting her hands and feet even more as the creature continued to climb aswell. In that moment she manage to remember what happened before all got his happened..... She was in her house whit a guy that looked like her dad, he was drunk there were empty beer bottle all over the floor and the body of a woman near her, she scream ed and tried to get out but was hitted by a bottle and grabbed by her leg but managed to free herself.
She runned out of what seemed to be an hut, the man came out aswell whit a crossbow shooting an arrow hitting her shoulder. Whit her face full fo tears she continued running just to finish right into a River not beeing able to move her body she just gave up as she returned to reality. The horned balck figure are still climbing and are very near her, she decided to continue climbing the stair as a wave of heared reach her burning her skin even more and right after that a Frost wave that would completely freeze her body. There was just one more step to do before she could reach the cloud but the Black horned monster reached her grabbing her leg and since she was frozen the leg was turned into shreds making her scream in pain and freezing her tears. Whi Don't the last glimpse of strenght she jumped on the cloud as she felt a sense of pleasure as she closed her eyes. When she opened them again she found herself at the start of the stairway but this time the fog was gone and a lot of figure were arround it. After a bit one runned toward it breaking it down, as the stairway fell apart all of them looked at the sky whit a face of relief. Now the sky was just of a Clear blue whit nothing more than clouds.
