I can see. For as long as I can remember I could only hear, but now I can see. There are bright lights everywhere around me. They hurt me. There is movement all around me, I don't know what to do, so I stay still. Everything is so loud. Something grabs me and holds me closer to the light. I will later realize that these are the hands of those discussing things called humans.

As time passes the stick me with sharp things, and then pick me up. They still hurt me. They stick me in places that I cannot escape from. I long to stretch my legs, to run away, but as soon as I take a few steps forward something stops me, and I curl up on the floor wrapping my tail over my head. I'm so scared.

Weeks have passed since they put me in this place, and I have learned more about these Humans. One Human inparticular comes into the place I am every day, and hurts me. I don't know why they hurt me, but I do know that they stop hurting me when I get angry. But if I get too angry a loud sound briefly comes from outside, and everything I see becomes blurry, and everything I hear gets slow. The human comes in with a long pole, standing over me. I'm terrified.

For months this goes on. I'm in a constant state of fear, and the only thing I can do to make them go away is to get as mad as I can. One day though I snap. I get madder than I ever have and rip the pole out of the humans hand, and jump at them. Then I hear a sound so loud and so painful I drop to the floor and claw at my head. It hurts so much, I want it to stop.

The sound is there constantly, whenever the human comes in the noise blares, whenever he leaves it is there. I haven't slept in days. I'm so tired. The human prods me with the pole and I attack it, ripping a soft thing away from its tip. The noise gets louder the more I attack, and I get even madder. The human pokes me with the pole again, and I grab it with my claws, and pull the human towards me. They weren't expecting that. I feel mad, so mad that everything seems funny. The movement of the human is so funny to me, and I don't know why. Why are they doing this to me? I look down at the human, and jump on it's chest. I hear and feel a crack under my feet as the human screams. I don't know why, but I like that sound. I feel a massive pain in my side as the room is filed with a flickering yellow light. I lose control of my body, and fall to the floor. The humans have used this on me before, but never this much. A Female human with a soft, but firm voice barges in.

???: Do not harm the specimen.

The yellow light goes away, and the pain with it.

???2: Yes Dr. Valkyrie.

More time has passed and I'm now a little taller than most humans. The tortures have been increased. The humans now stand on the outside of my cage to prod me with those poles, now they all hurt with the yellow light that they call lightning dust. I know they won't stop unless I go along with it. I can still hear that high pitch noise, but this time there's a little red dot.

I have learned how to make the noise and attacks stop, at least for a short time. Earlier the humans would leave me alone for what seemed like a long time, but somehow they would fill the room with so much noise. After a while of my ears being assaulted by the noise, I actually became use to it. They would sometimes make sudden loud noises to try to scare me. After a while I got use to those too. I don't know why the found torturing me with loud noises and yelling so entertaining. I was old at some point enough to realize they were preparing me for something, but for what? Now back to how I manage to make the high-pitched noise stop. My cage is large enough for me, but the humans can also move it from place to place with me inside of it. It has these... things underneath it that roll along the ground to make me appear as if I'm flying. They roll me into a different place much bigger than my original space, and let me out into that space. I see the red dot on something moving in the distance, something alive. The dot goes away, and I lunge at the thing. Then a sound goes off louder than anything I've ever heard before, it makes my head feel like its going to explode. Then silence, and the dot comes back on. I stalk toward the creature, and the light goes off again. I run toward the animal, but stop myself. The loud sound came when I attacked the thing when the light was off. I back off. The light comes back on, and after a short time the sound the torture me with comes back making me go crazy. I leap at the animal tearing it to shreds, and devour it. After I do this something wonderful happens. Silence, sweet, wonderful, blessed silence. I am left alone for the rest of the day, finally getting to sleep soundly. Maybe things will get better.
