A confession (smut)

You wake up and walked to the showers to freshen up for the day. Today is a bit of a special day. Yesterday Hange ask you to meet them in their office for a lunch. It wasn't unusual for the section commander to ask to hang out with you so you didn't let yourself get too excited. You decided to bury your feelings for them since you knew they had feelings for someone else, Moblit to be specific. Whenever Hange wasn't with you or Erwin and Levi they spent all their free time with Moblit.

You had let yourself get your hopes up before you heard Hange talking about someone with such passion that it had to be a crush. They got all flustered when Moblit walked up and then it all made sense. They like Moblit. You were determined not to let it disrupt your usual cheer you had when you were around the section commander even though it crushed your spirits more than you would've liked to admit.

You finished getting yourself prepared for your outing with Hange, you took one last look in the small mirror you had in your room. You looked nice, not too nice as to make Hange wonder why you were so fancy but you couldn't help but still want to look nice for them.

You spot them walking into their office and you call out to them.

"I'm so happy to see you Y/n!"

You are pulled into a deep embrace. As you take a step back you look at the spread Hange has prepared for the both of you.

"Wow! Did you prepare all this yourself?"

"Yes I got the best I could get for us!" A small blush colours their face. "Shall we?" They say gesturing towards the picnic blanket they have lead out.

You two begin eating and having light conversation. Hange looks off into the distance and sighs.
You furrow your eyebrows "Section Commander whats wrong?"

"Please. It's Hange."

"Right sorry. Hange, what is troubling you?"

"It's stupid really. When we are facing titans and bigger problems"

"Nothing is stupid, especially when it comes to you"

A small smile finds its way to Hange's face. "Thanks for saying that" The smile disappears from their face "the other day we were training it seemed like Levi had all your attention. In fact it seems like he always has your attention."

You giggle.

"See? I told you it was stupid."

"Hange, I wasn't looking at Levi. I was never looking at Levi. I was looking at you."

You take in the shocked expression that takes over Hange's face. "You were looking at me? All these years?"

You feel your face heat up. "I-i well yea. You're my best friend Hange." You notice Hange wince slightly. "You're incredible Hange. You're one of the most skilled soldiers I've seen. The smartest and most inquisitive person I know. I love spending time with you. You always make me smile and feel better when I am down. I love doing really anything with you!"

"Sounds to me like you have a bit of a crush" Hange says teasingly

"Guilty.. I like you Hange. I have for a while now and I know I shouldn't have these feelings and I know you probably would never feel the same but I do and I-"

You are cut off by Hange's hand cupping your face finger brushing against your lips.

"May I kiss you?" Hange says while their gaze is locked on your lips.

You nod.

"Use your words darling"

"Yes Hange, please."
