Aki tossed and turned in her bed. She hated the thunder and lightning. But more than the storm, she hated Jeno. He was her roommate and always managed to get on her nerves. He was just plane rude. Calling her dumb and an idiot. It hurt at first, but Aki got used to it.

Aki heard thunder that sounded rather close, causing her to sit upright in her bed. she turned on the bed side lamp, slowing getting up, getting her phone and looking for her earbud, and to no avail, she couldn't find them. She look a deep shaky breath in and sat back on the bed.

Scrolling through her playlist, she found the song that always calmed her down. She pressed play and allowed the song to play, turning the volume up as it was mixing with the sounds of the rain hitting the roof and the thunder rolling. She softly sings along, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Suddenly, Aki hears her door open, she looks over as she bites her hand. Standing in her door way is Jeno, rubbing sleep from his eyes. Aki frowned. Just what I needed. Jeno walked in the room. "I know how much you hate storms, so I came to make sure you were okay." He frowned as he looked at Aki who was shaking with anxiety.  "Well, I'm okay, so you can leave." Don't leave Jeno.. Her thoughts contradicting the words that exited her mouth. Jeno shakes his head and walks farther into the room sitting on the bed. "Look, I know I'm not the nicest person to you, But I do care about you." Jeno's voice was soft and caring, something Aki didn't expect.

Jeno faced Aki, smiling slightly as hair fell over his eyes. He knew exactly what Aki wanted. He held his arms open as Aki scooted closer, wrapping her arms around Jeno's waist. He encased her in a warm hug, planting a soft kiss on her temple as she cried in his arms. "Sh...It'll be over soon."

After a little while they were laying on the bed as Aki's music played in the backroom. Aki was still in Jeno's arm as he told her stories from his past. Aki was amazed by every word that fell from his mouth. He had stories of dance and music and school. "I didn't know you were so interesting.." Aki's voice trailed off. She had been living with Jeno for five or six months at this point, and never knew this side of him. Jeno chuckled lightly. "I have lots of stories. But I have one that I've never told anyone." Aki looked up at him confused. Was he going to tell her?

"Well," He started, "When I first moved in there was this girl. Everything about her drew me in. Her voice, her taste in music, everything." Aki nodded against his chest. Jeno continued with a heavy sigh. "Anyway, when I learned her name, I repeated it in my head a few times. It's a beautiful name, rolls off the tongue nicely. Well, I ended up writing her name down everywhere. Someone asked me about it and asked if she was my girlfriend, but I already messed up any chance I had by calling her dumb and stuff like that." Aki frowned, felling betrayed in a sense. He was calling other girls dumb. "Whats her name?" Aki asked innocently. Jeno looked around. "Do you have a pen?" Aki nodded, handing him a pen. To her surprise he took her hand and wrote letters on her arm. She read each letter out loud. "A...K...I..." She looked at him and widened her eyes. "That's my name.." He simply nodded and smiled sadly. Aki spoke again. "Is...Is is me?" He nodded again and Aki felt her face turn pink. She hid her head in Jeno's chest. "You should have told me before...Idiot." He could hear the smile in her voice as she spoke. "Maybe." Aki brought her head up and kissed his cheek softly. "I like rainy days now."
