Sam had been watching you, while you were talking to Kate. San was jealous because when she broke up with Deena, she lied about the reason why.

Her mom wasn't the reason, being in Sunny Vale was also not the reason. She broke up with Deena, because she wanted to date you.

There was only problem to that though- you were dating Kate. Yes Kate and Sam were friends,but Sam wanted Kate to break up with you.

She wanted it so bad l, so that she could date you and call you hers. She hated seeing you with Kate, she hated how she couldn't date you. She hated Deena still having a crush on her.

All she wanted in life - was you to be hers. But that could never happen, as you were with Kate.
