...

"I don't want to kill my mother."

"Who said anything about killing?" he stomped further into the dark, "Why does everyone assume I solve all my problems with murder? I'm totally not that guy. If I was around in the 70s, I would 100% be a hippie."

She bumped her shoulder into his, "Yeah, 'cause world peace was always your priority."

He let out a chuckle, "Well, maybe not priority... But definitely an ideal."

"Did you tell your dad about your ideals? He must've been so proud of his woke son. Oh wait..." She titled her head, a playful smile on her face, "Didn't you kill your dad? And, like, your every other relative?"

"Oh you are evil!" He added though a smirk, "I like it."

"Where exactly are we?"

"Technically, we're trespassing."

"Great," she tightened her hand around his biceps, "Yet another ilegal act on the list. I thought we were done with this bad guy shit, you know."

"Eh," he exclaimed as he pulled her to the left, "Not the worst thing we've done. Plus, old habits die hard - especially the fun ones. Say, when's the last time we've been in the middle of nowhere alone?"

"Not alone, baby," she replied, "Don't forget, my mom's lurking around here somewhere - if your tracking spell was correct, that is."

"Excuse me," he bit back, "Of fucking course it's correct. Come on, you're smart enough to know better than to doubt me. The leader of the Gemini Coven, remember?"

"Baby, of course you're the leader - you're the only one left."

His loud laughter filled the woods around them. "Good burn, baby. You're wrong, though. Technically, both the Saltzman twins and our children are members."

At the word twins, something dropped inside Renesmee's stomach. The merge. God, God no. At one point, Faith and Grace will have to...

"Princess?"

He was in front of her, eyebrows curved in confusion. "Sorry," she smiled awkwardly, "Just nervous."

Kai bought it, God bless him, and he was quick to brush it off, "Don't fret. If the buzz kill tries something I'll be there. Plus, I'm great with family - remember how I charmed your dad? Maybe I could pull that stunt again on Creepy Eyes." He rambled.

She let him lead the way to what she had just then realized was the old Lockwood cellar, as the lump in her throat kept pressing and pressing until she struggled to breathe.

One of them is stronger. Only one of them will survive. One of my kids is going to die. One of my daughters is going to kill the other.

"She should be... Right here."

"There's a face I thought I'd never see again."

"Right back at you," he sang as Isabella Cullen immerged from the trees. "I'd say it's a delight, but your daughter here has been teaching me not to lie."
