Y/B : Your/Birthday

"Do you need any help walking?" Hina asks, giving me a hand to hold onto.

"Hina, I'm fine. It's not like I lost my leg or anything, I just got poked in the leg." I joke, walking ahead to show her I was fine.

"You should be more careful; you might open up your wound again. You never know." She argues back, worrying about me.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." I shrug.

Hina and I were heading back from school. She's been continuously worrying about me for the past few days since I was released from the hospital. It became such a routine that I've programmed myself to say no whenever she asks me.

"Well, I'm heading this way." I say, pointing towards the direction of my neighborhood.

"You don't need me to walk with you?" She asks, worried again.

"I'm not your dog, Hina." I state, offended. "I won't die walking alone."

"Sorry Y/n-chan, I'm just worried." She apologizes.

"Don't worry, I'm happy you're this worried about me." I say, patting her on the shoulder. "Alrighty then, I'll see you tomorrow at school."

"Text me when you get home!" she yells, walking away from me.

The moment Hina was out of sight, my legs outright gave up. But I still hold my ground and stand straight.

"Fuck, I shouldn't have overexerted myself." I curse silently to myself. "Thank God Hina left, or else I wouldn't hear the end of it."

Somehow, I couldn't move; the pain hurt too much. I just stood there, hands on my knees, trying to keep myself standing.

"That's a weird position." From behind me, an unknown voice says."Are you doing yoga in the middle of the street?"

I turn around to see a boy. He had abnormally long hair for a guy.

"Who're you?" I ask, confused.

"Who am I? Who are you?" he asks me back. "And what're you doing in the middle of the street?"

"Nothing, just stretching." I play it off, quickly straightening myself up. "Well, nice to meet you, stranger."

I was about to walk away, but my leg still couldn't move. So, I stood there without moving.

We just stood there, with him expecting me to walk away after what I said.

"Is this some kind of joke?" he laughs at me.

"Shut up." I mumble, embarrassed by my actions. "Can't you leave."

He cocks an eyebrow, "Whatever, stranger." He says, walking past me. "I have a meeting to attend to anyway," he mumbles the last part.

As he walks away, I notice something familiar. It was the uniform. He was wearing the same one that Mikey wears.

"Weird..." I mumble to myself.

"What are you doing here, Mikey?" I ask, as I arrive home.

"I came to see how you're holding up." He says, flashing me with his usual smile.

I couldn't help but blush. It was genuinely sweet and charming. And I also couldn't help but smile, maybe for a little too long. But I only realized it after seeing Mikey's face turn into confusion.
