chapter 1: what the hell happened

Nicks pov:

Cindy was my bestfriend and she has been for the past 5 years, but ever since the 6th grade I've had the BIGGEST crush on her. It all started one afternoon at resess. "Coming through!" I said, rushing through the hall way, trying to get past everyone so that Kurt won't try and kill me! "Get back here you whore!" Said kurt screaming his lungs out at me. I continued to run when I bumped into someone. "Ow!" I said, falling to the ground. "Shit,I'm sorry, are you okay?" Asked this girl. She had gorgeous brown curly hair that was up to her shoulders and beautiful blue eyes. "It's okay!" I said staring into her eyes. Was I falling in love with this girl I has just met... no I couldn't have been. Just as she was about to help me up, Kurt came up behind me and pulled my arm in. Behind him was Sheila and my brother, Will. Me and will had always hated eachother so whenever he got the chance to, he would go to be on Kurt's side. "Wow, think you can escape me slut! I'm going to make your life a living hell!" He said, digging his Nails into me while I was being dragged down the hall. He shoved me into the bathroom and locked me in there. Now it was just Kurt,Will,Sheila and I. 3 against 1. This is soooo unfair! "Okay look, I know you have my money, so just give it over and no one gets hurt! Otherwise, your gonna end up like your dad and I don't think you want that!" Said kurt. I just looked at him madly. "I don't have your money, I'm not a snob that goes around stealing other peoples stuff!" I said snarling back at him. "Just give it over nick!" Said kurt mad. "I don't have it!!" I said trying to defend myself. "Fine we'll do this the hard way!" He said walking closer to me, I started walking backwards. He got ahold of my arm and pushed me up against the wall. "Told ya mate!" He said. I fell to the ground with blood trickling down my nose. "Shit.." I said wiping it. I looked up at him and got up standing still. "I'm going to murder you!" I said back, pulling his hair back. He quickly got and of my arm,twisted it out of his grip,  got a grip of my hips and pushed me up against the sinks and mirrors. As soon as I hit the wall, I blacked out. The others just left me In there. The exited out of the bathrooms and the girl from earlier saw them walking out suspiciously. "Hey, guys I'll be back. I'm gonna go check on what happened." Said the girl. She shuffled her way into the bathrooms and walked in, seeing me blacked out on the floor. "Oh my God!" She said running in and sitting by me. "Hey,hey! Wake up!" She shook me and that's when I woke up. My eyes slowly opened and I got up to see her sitting right there. "Wh-what happened..?" I asked the girl. "You got knocked out, but your fine okay..." She said, placing her hand on my face and rubbing my cheek. We stared into eachothers eyes. "Oh God, you have a blood nose, let me take you to the nurses office!" She said. I got up and she walked me to the nurses. Knock,knock,knock. "Come in!" Said the nurse. she opened the door and we walked in. "Hey,what can I help- omg! Are you okay nick?!" Asked the nurse. "Yeah..." I said back." What happened!?" Asked the nurse scared. "I got beat up by kurt again." I said. "Again..." said the nurse sad. "Come sit down..." said the nurse. The girl directed me to the seats. "Gosh nick, what did I tell you about getting into drama??" Said the nurse. "Well, too be fair, Kurt thought I stole his money when I didn't!" I said back, trying to rebutle myself. "Okay,I believe you." Said the nurse. 20 minutes passed and I found out kurt broke my nose, great! The nurse called my mom to come pick me up and she took me too the hospital. "Yep, it's definitely broken." Said the nurse at the hospital. She put tape around it too make it stay in place and that afternoon I went back to school. "Hey!" Said the girl from earlier. She put her hands on my shoulders and pecked her head up. "Hey!" I said back. "Aww,you poor thing! Hey, I have some lollies in my bag if you want them! I feel real bad that you broke your nose!" Said The girl. "Aw, thanks. But I'm not really that hungry and plus there your lollies so I shouldn't take them and thanks for helping me earlier!" I said back. "Are you sure and it's okay!" Asked her again. "I'm sure." I had closed my locker. "Anyways, I forgot toask you earlier but what's your name?" I asked. "Cindy berman!" She said, extending out her arm. I extended out mine. "Nick Goode!" I said back. And that's how I met my bestfriend, Cindy berman.
