After our talk, we went back inside and ate dinner with Sarah.

It made me feel a bit better from my previous conversation with Sam. It was filled with lighthearted stories and laughs. Sam teasing his nephews and them firing back at him. It was really nice. I laughed all night long and we talked for a long time. Even after the boys went to bed.

The three of us went to bed around midnight and I did have another nightmare but thankfully I don't think I woke anyone up. I just fell back to sleep after that.

Now it's morning and as I woke up sunlight from the two small windows in the room was shining through. I could hear loud cranking and loads of people talking.

I looked at the time. It was around ten-thirty in the morning.

Jesus. I didn't think his family would come by so early. Then again I'm sure it'll take them a long time to fix up the boat.

I got up and tried my best to fix my hair. Sarah lent me one of her new brushes and with that, I brushed out my hair and looked myself over in the mirror she had in there.

"I look like a mess."

My outfit was a bit wrinkly.

I should ask Sam where the nearest shop is and go buy more than one pair of clothes because these three pairs aren't going to do it. One of them being my suit isn't the best outfit to be worn casually here.

I did grab my clothes and headed out of the room after putting my shoes on.

I step out into the living room.

Sam or Sarah are nowhere in sight. I turn to see his nephews coming inside the house quickly. Looking out of breath.

"Hey," they both say simultaneously.

"Morning," I say back as I watch them enter the kitchen and fill up a glass of water from the sink.

"If you're looking for Sam he's outside with everyone else," the oldest said after chugging down some water.

"That's great but I was actually looking for your mom," I say before lifting my bag. "I wanted to see if I could wash my clothes?"

"Here, I'll show you," he said guiding me past the kitchen to this little section where they have a washer and a dryer right before heading out the back door.

"Mom keeps all the stuff in there that she uses to wash," he says pointing towards a cupboard above the washer and dryer.

"Oh-ok thanks."

He smiles and nods before running off and smacking his brother. To which he chases him out of the house.

I laugh to myself before opening the cupboard to find the detergent and fabric softener.

I throw my clothes in after adding both of the chemicals and turn it on.
Once I see the clothes spinning in a repeated motion I take myself outside.

I was amazed at how many people actually turned up. I didn't think he had this much family. The place was filled with people walking up and down the dock with tools and a bunch of other things I don't even know.

I walked out searching for Sam as I felt everyone's eyes on me as I strolled by.

I headed towards the boat because I assumed that's where Sam would be and as my eyes locked on a woman who looked at me concerned I felt my body bump into someone.

"Jane," I turn to see Sam with the biggest smile.

"Hey, I see people came," I say semi uncomfortable by the way they're looking at me.
