A Not So Love Story

Chapter 1 : A girl named 'Bubblegum'

Hello, I am Brienne Amelie Go but they call me 'Bubblegum' or 'bubbles' for short. I wear eyeglasses but I'm not a nerd. My height was not short but not so tall, it was just average. I have thick short black straight hair and its length is above my shoulder. That's why I always put hair clips on it for me to be comfortable. My skin is not white but not brown definitely it was a light brown.

I am still 18 years old, and I am currently enrolled at Oxford University. Icwas transfered here a months ago. Our uniform is plain white long sleeves and pleated black skirts. We have assigned dorms for girls and boys only but many of them sneak out. It has a mall, a football ground, a huge library, and a large canteen. Well if you will ask me? I am not famous just like Anais.

Anais is the campus crush. She has beauty and always wins in any pageant tournament. Last year according to Akane, she was named Miss Oxford in our school. She can get a boyfriend every month and she loves being slut. Every boy loves her despite having a bad attitude towards some other girls here. She looks like a desperate girl who loves attention. If she likes your boyfriend, you will end up breaking up with him.

Now I am with my Japanese best friend Akane Sankai who is always my lifesaver. We know each other since we we're in the same school in the kindergarden. She has a cute smile and flawless skin, she is a living snow. Also she have longer hair than me. She doesn't like going around with so many people. That's why we're always leaving the school and we go to the library to have some peace.

However, this time the library is currently closed and we don't have any choice but to eat inside the school's canteen. Yes, we're little bad girls cause we sneak out foods in the library. The School canteen has different food but the price seems so expensive even a little bread costs a hundred pesos. Eveyone eat's here and aside of sneaking out dating someone outside that was quite common here since a lot of trouble happens.

While casually eating our meals we heard some people scream.

" She is here!" A girl screams while running back to sit properly. The loud noise suddenly transforms and disappears. A silence sounds begins that any actions of you do will be heard.

"HEY, YOU!" I looked at the girl far from us. She is Anais with the twin sisters, Demi and Devan. She confronted a girl and slapped her face. The girl was shocked, she couldn't even talk to Anais. She gets her bag and runs away while crying.

Anais just smirked and went away. This is the first time I see it happening. I thought it was a rumor on our campus. All of us see how she went through her limits but none of them try to report her to the principal or through the Supreme Student Councils (SSC). All of them are scared, nervous, and frightened about who will be her next target.

After 20 minutes when anais went off the atmosphere became normal again, people started to talk and I still stuck for a moment.

"Hey, Bubbles don't mind them" Akane casually start to eat . I smiled bitterly. "Okay" and continued to eat.

And still confused 'why did Anais do it to that girl?'The girls look innocent. I was thinking of reporting Anais to the president.

" Don't think of it, Bubbles, " Akane said while shrugging off her head. She read my mind!?. "But--" I said to her. " No buts '' she interrupts. I just smiled at her. I know she doesn't want any troubles but I need Anais to face her punishments.

After the school dismissal, I eventually pack up my things before I go outside. Akane runs in front of me. " I know what you're thinking but no," she said while holding my shoulders and stopping me from going to the president.
