Suddenly, whisky didnt taste bitter enough. But how could it when her tongue was tainted with the taste of his lips? How could she be bitter wen her heart had succumbed to his sweetness?
It seems his love wasnt real but her pain was. All that remained were the memories of his promises he so easily broke. How romantic! (Note the sacarsm). The only thing she was feeling for him was nothing but hatred, but who was she fooling? For we all noe that hatred is just a darker form of love!
His betrayal echoed in her head and she couldn't shut it out. She gulped the whisky and felt nothing. She wasn't even getting drunk. Or so she thought. She drank until her bladder nearly burst, the pain searing through,the humiliation like a bee sting and the betrayal like....well betrayal. Frustration poured outta her and the glass so easily pierced her skin when she squeezed too hard. Everyone's eyes were on her for the past three hours and she didn't care. All that mattered was drinking. She had to forget! Her eyes bloodshot and cheeks tear stained, she looked quite a sight. The bar manager sighed in relief when the man he'd called after stealing Kimmy's phone arrived.
"Kimmy! Kim are you alright. Whats wrong?"
"How much did she drink?" Timothy asked the bar manager as he reached for his wallet.
"Non-stop for the last three hours."
"I meant in money terms"
"Oh dont worry about it. She paid the bill."
Timothy carried the reluctant Kim to his car and the driver went off.
"Not you Steve. No! Stay. You promised. "Kim sobbed calling and yearning for Steve. If only he could hear!
On seeing Kimmy like this Timothy's heart broke. He couldn't blv that Steven could ever make Kaity cry. He'd always treated his women with respect. So wat happened this time? Especially to a woman like Kim!His explanation better be worth her tears!
