"what's your mom like?" Izzie asks, her and Danielle had been lying in bed for a while now, talking about anything and everything. Izzie was starting to feel not too bad so could make it through a conversation without either throwing up or getting too dizzy

"she's uh... normal, I guess" Danielle shrugs, not thinking anything of it

"what's normal?" Izzie asks, rolling over onto her stomach so she can look at Danielle

"hm?"

"I've never had a mom, what's it like?"

"well, if they're a good mom then I guess it's just like having someone there for you, someone to take away some of the responsibilities and just be on your side no matter what. they talk to you, listen to you ramble on about a fight you got into or how your friend did something stupid" she laughs, "and then they'll hug you when you cry and they'll have a go at someone because they were horrible to you, they're just there, always"

"so like you?"

"me?" Danielle asks, just checking she heard right

"I mean, that's all you do, so moms are like you" she shrugs

"I guess"

"you'd make a good mom then"

"you think?"

"mhm" she smiles

"Jaina!" Maya says over facetime, Izzie having been in the shower for 10 minutes or so

"yeah?"

"I'm not letting her go back to that group home!" she says strongly

"and how do you plan on doing that?" she laughs slightly

"I don't know, I mean, there's got to be a way"

"like fostering her?" Jaina asks, wide-eyed

"i don't know, I mean, i don't know how it works, I've got a foster licence from a few years ago but i don't even know if I could do that"

"ooo, you talking about fostering?" Izzie asks, only hearing the last part

"what?" Danielle panics

"you can just ask, im like a database for information" she chuckles

"so, say someone was in a certain placement, is there anyway of it changing?" 

"either if blood relatives come through and want to take you back or if someones looking to foster you in particular, it depends what placement it is though, if it was like a foster placement in a home then its harder to get moved because of so called 'emotional connections' but if its like a group home then they happily let you go because they run out of room" she explains, completely oblivious, "why, are you going to foster someone?"

"maybe," Danielle says, feeling the sweat

"that's so nice, see, I told you, you're just a nice person," she says, going back into the bathroom to get something

"see! that girl doesnt deserve to be ignored like shes being by them" she tells jaina 

"so you're doing it?!"

"I don't know! would she even want me to?"

"girl."

"I will try and figure something out," she sighs, "ill see you tomorrow"

"you're coming in?"

"yeah, izzies not but shes not too bad at the minute"

"ok, we'll see you tomorrow then, bye!"
