figuring out the type of girl you are

School's finally out, me and Glimmer got out of the classroom as we went to the lockers. I was grabbing my books but my eyes kept wandering to the halls, to see if i can spot a specific person walking out. "Did you tell Catra and the others when to come?" I asked Glimmer. "Uhm around three should be fine, text them that and let's go." She said gesturing for us to get out. I pretended to get a few more things out of my locker when i spot her. "Hey Catra." I said to her. "Hey Adora." She greeted me back. "Uhm so you guys can come around three, is that cool?" I asked her and the people behind her. "Yeah that's cool, i'll see you later." She said waving at me. I threw my bag on my shoulder as we walked to the car where Bow was already at. Glimmer opened the door and we all got in, me sitting in the front this time. "What are we gonna be doing?" I asked Glimmer as she kept her attention on the road. "Not sure, just chill i guess." She answered as she yawned. Glimmer is my best friend, i've been to her house more times that i can remember. Last time i was there i remember leaving some clothes that i could change into now. We got to her house, it was empty since Angella was still at work but she agreed to let the new kids come over. We got into Glimmer's bedroom as she went inside the bathroom to change. "Why do you seem so.. nervous or.. excited?" Bow asked trying to figure out what i was feeling at the time. "What? I'm not just uh tired?" I lied. He seemed unconvinced but he just agreed. Glimmer soon came out wearing some comfy clothes. She gestured that it was my turn to change and i agreed.

It was around 2pm, we decided to stop by Lonnie's house to get some extra clothes for Entrapta who wanted to wear something more comfortable. We got in and Entrapta changed, grabbed her laptop mouse that she had forgotten and we got back into the car. We decided to just stay in and chill until it's three. Forty five minutes later and we decided to start driving to the purple haired girls house. We made it just in time and Glimmer opened the door for us to let us in and i gotta say, she lived in a fucking mansion. She lead us to her room were the boy and Adora was. We sat down and i could tell that Scorpia and Bow were getting along and so were Lonnie and Glimmer. Entrapta was on her laptop doing god's knows what, Kyle and Rogelio were just being two awkward pieces of shit. Me and Adora started talking, a bit awkward at first but it eventually wasn't so bad. She showed me some pictures of her after she had moves schools and we even exchanged numbers. She told me how hard it was for her trying to make new friends and how that impacted her life. Turns out many people liked her, the 'popular girl' you can say but not quite the ones in movies. By how she described herself i could picture out that she was a straight A student, people liked her, she had many friends and people found her very pretty.

We talked for a bit and it was really nice, i told her how i was like at school and tried to hard to not make me seem as the 'popular girl' but i probably failed. I listened to how she was like, Catra was naturally smart which is something i already knew, she hangs out with her gang a lot and they can confront anyone that comes in their way which is really fucking scary. She just mostly chills with them, focuses on soccer and likes to draw. Cool. Her friends seemed well intimidating but i can see why they are friends. I probably lost track of time since it was already like seven and they had to go. "Hey uhm Catra?" I asked her. "Yeah what's up blondie?" She answered me back. "Uhm do you wanna come over tomorrow or some other day to like hang out.? I asked with hesitation. I don't know why i was feeling so nervous. "Sure, just text me where you live so i can stalk you." She said winking at me. We said goodbye to the group before they left. I looked through the window and could see their car. They had a car that could feel five people while they were six so Entrapta being the smallest had to sit on someone's lap. She sat on Catra's as they started heading home. I decide not to think much of it. Me and Bow grabbed out shit since Glimmer agreed to take us home, it was out normal routine that she picks us up and drops us at our houses. It's been like that since she got her license.
