At the Concert

"Wow, we can practically climb on stage! ♡♡♡ Well, that is if the rails weren't here~" Ty Lee giggled to Azula. She was always so bubbly and sweet, it amazed Azula that she didn't get a tooth ache every time they kissed. Azula couldn't have been a greater opposite to her girlfriend, but somehow that's what made them work. Being here was proof enough of that. Ty Lee had no interest in Paramore, and yet they were standing right next to the stage they would be performing on.

Azula looked around for their friends. When Ty Lee bought tickets she invited the Gaang of course since they all loved concerts, but also so there would be more people to look after her girlfriend. Despite Azula's punk rock get up this evening, her body wasn't as tough as her leather harness. She had narcolepsy, so she always needed to go places in pairs. The more people to go with her, the more they could make sure she was safe ♡. Tonight, nobody was missing the opportunity to see Hayley Williams. Aang and Katara arrived with his arm around her shoulder as usual and walked around the merch booths. Mai was chatting up one of the guards probably trying to talk her way into backstage passes. Of all the times she's tried this trick...she actually has been pretty successful because well, who could resist a goth girl with a septum piercing? The guard, though, didn't seem impressed. So much for those passes. Azula turned her head towards commotion near the entrance. She wasn't surprised to see Suki pulling Toph away from a fight she probably picked. If anyone was skeptical that Daredevil could exist in real life, they only needed to meet Toph to change their mind. Her reflexes were fast, her punches were hard, and she never missed. Azula felt a tap on her shoulder and turned to see Sokka.

"Heeeyyyyyy Azuuuulaaaaa. I bet you're excited! I know I can't wait!!!!" said Sokka. Zuko came up behind with a smile, but did not laugh at the goofy greeting. It was Sokka's main goal in life to keep Zuko laughing, although it seemed he could keep everyone laughing except Zuko, but he liked the challenge. Azula knew how hard this challenge was, and she knew it was partly because of her. She still hadn't forgiven herself for how she treated her brother and she wasn't sure if Zuko did fully either, but he was still cordial.

"Yeah, can't wait either. Hayley Williams was one of my first crushes actually." Sokka turned open mouthed at Zuko, who was now laughing at his own joke. Although it wasn't really a joke more than it was a statement. "Relax, it's not like we're going to her trailer after the show. I can behave myself, and even if I couldn't, that's what the rails are for." 

After a while, the time comes for the show to start. The Gaang gathers to where Azula and Ty Lee were standing as Paramore takes the stage.

And there she is, her bright hair unmistakeable.

"Hey everyone! How's everyone doing tonight!!!!!!!!"

The crowd goes crazy, but I think Zuko went the craziest. Huh, who'd have guessed?

"We're gonna start with an old one, at the request of Ty Lee. This one is for AZULA!!!!"

Azula turned to Ty Lee, overwhelmed. Ty Lee looked backed, beaming. "Surprise! ♡ Happy Anniversary ♡♡"

♫ And we'll sing it back to you ♫
♫ We could sing our own ♫
♫ But what would it be without you ♫

Aang and Katara were swaying together to the song. Zuko looked more invested in Hayley than Sokka but Sokka's face was so tightly buried in Zuko's shoulder he didn't notice. Zuko snapped out of his trance and rested his head on Sokka's.

The song picked up and soon people were no longer swaying but jumping and screaming along. Toph pushed a few people over but Suki did damage control as she stomped her feet as hard as she could to every "heart" and "beat". Even Mai started to bob her head to the music.

As the final note rang away, Hayley looked around crowd and then found Azula. They locked eyes. Azula could not believe what was happening. Hayley had just sung a song for her and Ty Lee and was now smiling at her. Hayley winked, and everything faded to black...
