Chapter 3

SERENA'S POV

As we arrived to the office to meet our new investor my secretary informed me that he was already waiting for us for 30 minutes now. I rushed with the contract documents to the board room panting so fast. Eeew I had been running so as to meet up with him. Dad would join me later as he said. 

I opened the door and saw a man facing his back on me. He was facing the other side of the room, probably facing the large glass window which has a great few of the city. I sighed as I felt a familiar scent of his cologne I wish I wasn't right, for this is not what I expect. I had to talk something to him so that he could face me for he seemed to be so far away at that moment "Mr. Montero I am really sorry to keep you waiting, there was a bit of traffic out there". I explained to him in advance. 

I was really nervous and anxious at the same time. I wanted to see his face I don't know why but I felt strange by his presence. "Relax, Miss Valdez I don't bite" he smirked. And that was when I realized I was right all along, its him. Oh no its him and he is a Montero. Goodness he is one of the Montero's, could he be the son of the billionaire Rodrigo Montero? I was having so many assumptions in my head at the moment that I couldn't think straight. 

How could I be so dumb, I never even goggled about Rodrigo's son? He faced me as I was still in shock of his deep sexy voice. "Seen a ghost sweetheart?'' he smiled at me. Oh God that one smile that killed my senses, that same face that looks like a Greek God. This man will be the death of me I swear and now that am going to be seeing him often is another case.

As usual I pretended to not be affected by his presence. "You, again?'' was all I could say as I looked at him intently.

He came closer to me, every step he made, I moved back until he pinned me against the wall with his hands cuffing the walls around my body.

"Stop this; this is an official business meeting". He leaned his head closer to me, I closed my eyes expecting him to kiss me but he didn't instead, he laughed sarcastically

"Relax, I told you already I don't bite okay? So where is your father, I want to see him and discuss a deal. I believe you are just helping out I can't discuss this confidential matter with you" his sentences made me offended, I felt useless and dumb.

"Mr. Montero, for your information, I am the one in charge now. I am the new CEO of Valdez Group of Co. So I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be involved with this meeting."

He let out a loud laugh and he clapped his hands "Congratulations, from a model to a CEO of Multi billionaire company? Quite impressive huh? "

He sarcastically said it and I was so annoyed. Gone was the man who begged me to forgive him and back was the arrogant man I met in America.

Wow he changed so fast huh. He must have acted all along so that he slept with me again. I wish I could slap him right now he is getting into my nerves

"Mr. Montero that doesn't sound like a compliment at all. Well anyways thank you. You want to meet my father then follow me".

He followed me as I walked, he didn't answer me. I was trembling that I was going to pass out any moment. I reached my father's office and he smiled upon seeing my face

"Oh princess, any problem? Where is Mr. Montero? He asked. I heaved a sigh "Actually dad Mr. Montero is here to have a word with you"

I paced side ways to allow Mr. Montero to step in and he did Dad was surprised to see him there. Well he expected that I would be the one to close the deal

"Mr. Montero, please welcome to Valdez Corp. It's my pleasure to finally meet you in person". He extended his hand for a shake which Mr. Montero gladly received it with a smile
