SERENATE

Chapter 4

NATE'S POV 

"Nate stop" she gestured her hands to stop me from getting near her. As if I cared , I went towards her she kept moving back until her body bumped to the wall.

I smirked winning. She looked so nervous. I put my arms on the wall caging her.

I looked straight in her eyes. "Tell me, Serena are you scared of me?"

"Nate please. Stop this someone might come in" she pleaded.

"Cut he crap Serena you have been avoiding me for the whole month now. I know I hurt you before but I already apologized for that. Just give me a chance, let's work things together please?" I pleaded caressing her face.

She closed her eyes for a few minutes before nodding her yes lightly? Was she saying yes? 

"Look at me Serena tell me, i wanna hear it from you" I urged her and she opened her eyes and met with mine starring at her pretty face. 

"I am willing to give you a chance Nate" she said and the happiness I felt inside my heart was non compared. I couldn't argue after all I was happy she gave me a chance.

"Serena thank you so much you have no idea how happy you have made me". I suddenly kissed her and she responded moaning to the kiss. It had been long since I kissed her but it felt the same.

After a while we stopped and chuckled.

"I miss you terribly you don't know how much" I whispered to her as I held her beautiful face in my arm. She touched my hand and assured me that she felt the same.

"Don't hurt me again I can't take it Nate. You have no idea how hard it was for me when you made me feel cheap and used" she said almost sobbing. My heart ached for being such an asshole to her.

I took her in my arms. She sobbed, I patted her back in a comforting manner. After a few moments she stopped crying I cupped her face. And rubbed her tears with kisses.

"I am sorry, I am so sorry" I patted her back as I held her body against mine tightly.

Later evening I was having dinner with Serena in an Italian restaurant. We were happy together she looked so cute in her gown that I couldn't wait to take it off her.

As we ate our food she caught me staring at her.

"What?" She asked smiling as she held my arm

"I have never seen this side of you, the happy and sweet side of you" I said kissing her hand. She gave me a warm and sweet smile.

"I know right. Get used to this more often"

I chuckled and we burst out laughing together.

"That was weird" she said and I nodded.

"So about Chase?" I asked out of the blue. She looked amused rather than surprised she wasn't expecting the question definitely.

"Fake cover to chase you off" she muttered with honesty.

"I knew it. But please don't play his game I see the way he looks at you Serena he so wants you. Your game with him is over from today" I said protectively making her roll her eyes in amusement.

"What? Are you being serious right now Nate?"

"Trust me I am. I can't lose you again Serena especially over that guy Chase" I pleaded with her.

"But he is just my friend Nate. And I love his art work like the painting you bought for me its magical you know that very well he is talented. Why won't you guys be good friends?" She said while caressing my arm on the table soothingly. I smiled at her for she made me calm down just by her touch.
