"Neesan, I need your help"
The ashes inside the small jar instantly burst in fire making Kazumi look at it in shock.
'How did the fire burst out of ashes all of a sudden? He doesn't even pour a flammable liquid and ignite it. But the deal is.... Why is he carrying ashes with him?' Kazumi thought with confusion
The fire form a humanlike figure making Kazumi feel goosebumps just by looking at it. The fire died out revealing Y/N with a muzzle still on her mouth. She look at Tanjiro, searching for an explaination. A puddle suddenly form in between Tanjiro and Y/N making them both step backwards to avoid it.
"Neesan.... Can you please help Nezuko protect Kazumi and the girl? It's allowed right? I'm going to jump in the puddle to get inside the swamp and fight the demons"
Another puddle form beside Nezuko and a morphed demon with two horns launch an attack at Nezuko. Nezuko jump backwards to avoid the sudden attack.
"Nezuko!" Tanjiro said in worry
Y/N immediately nod since there's no time to waste when the demon is still around. She ran towards Kazumi but Kazumi look at her shock.
"Y-you...." Kazumi trailed off but Y/N ignore his reaction and just stand in front of Kazumi then nod at Tanjiro.
"Nezuko! Neesan! I'm going underground! You can fight Nezuko without worries since neesan will going to protect them. I can count on you right?"
Nezuko nod at him so Tanjiro let himself submerge in the puddle. The demon attack Nezuko with its sharp claws while she dodge with incredible speed. Nezuko dodge sideways the desperate attack then punch the demon in the gut resulting in the demon to cough out blood.
Y/N just stand in front of Kazumi in dignified posture. She observe how Nezuko fight so she can point it out to Nezuko when she have a chance to teach her. She wants Nezuko to fight without relying at her so she can improve and get stronger. She decided to only intervene when Nezuko is in grave danger.
'This girl is powerful!' The morphed demon thought as he dodge the attacks of Nezuko ' She doesn't seem to have mastered any morphing skills yet, but look how strong she is anyway! She must have gotten a huge amount of blood from him! In addition, the other woman demon is only observing us but I can't help but getting goosebumps just by looking at her! And the aura she release.... There's no doubt she's on par with demon kizuki! Who the hell is she?! Why is she accompanying a demon hunter?!'
The demon crouch on the ground and start to form a puddle underneath him. Nezuko run towards him and do roundhouse kick so the demon dodge but he received another kick from Nezuko.
'She moves fast! I can't dive back into the swamp!' The morphed demon thought
Y/N notice the morphed demon is getting used to Nezuko's attacks. The demon cover his vulnerable spots and soften the blow. That's when the morphed demon manage to scratch Nezuko's forehead making her whimper in pain while Kazumi gasp in worry. The demon cackle in mind as he ready his sharp nails to stab Nezuko's head when someone suddenly hold his neck and raise him higher.
"W-what?" Kazumi said as he notice Y/N is no longer in front of him and she already hold the demon higher by his neck
Tanjiro who just emerge from the puddle also notice the demon is about to stab Nezuko so he's about to save her when not a second passed and Y/N already held the demon by his neck.
'So fast!' Tanjiro thought in awe
The morphed demon scratch Y/N's arms to let himself free.
"Neesan!!" Tanjiro shout in worry when he see Y/N getting scratched by the demon.
