It starts when you get a letter from Hogwarts on your 11th birthday.(A very exciting birthday.) And in the mail appears a letter with a red Hogwarts stamp on it. You open that letter explaining that you get to go to Hogwarts for seven years to learn all about magical stuff. Before that though you start to do stuff you do not mean to do when you are angry or sad like making things disappear and reappear whenever you want it to. But back to your birthday, if you are like Harry Potter and your parents are taking away the letter and burning them, then you move it somewhere in the ocean and then Hagrid comes and gives you the letter in person and scares you parents and siblings and let you go. That is just a short explanation of Harry's life. But back to ordinary people. They get the letter open it and it says you can come to Hogwarts because you are a witch or wizard and with a supply list of all the things you need to bring to Hogwarts in order t learn all the things you need to in your first year.
