prologue

As I got off the taxi my phone buzzed, it was a text from my mother

Mom: y/n where are you your late

You:
I'm on my way there was traffic and it's raining what did you expect

As I put my phone away turning it off so my mom would stop nagging I looked ahead to my old home town. It hasn't changed much since I was little, I dreaded being back here. "Y/n?" I turned to look at the voice "...Amelia?" I questioned, my old best friend nodded "hi y/n... Long time no see" she said awkwardly I sweat dropped "it's been awhile huh?" I said while looking her up and down her red hair and brown eyes just a beautiful as ever. She just looked at me with sad eyes I sighed "Amel-" "Why did you leave" she asked while cutting me off, I flinched "Amelia... I just couldn't be stuck here anymore" I said Amelia looked at me with an unreadable look. I've never wanted to be somewhere else more in my life, Amelia hugged me which caught me off guard. "I'm just glad your back we need to catch up sometime" she said with a smile. I let a small smile slip out and hugged her back "I'd love to but I better get going before my mom gets angrier" she giggled "of course I'll see you tomorrow maybe at the old cafe, at 2:00?" She asked "I smiled and said "sounds like a date." We waved good bye while I walked I saw the old convenience store and decided to go in.
As I walked in I saw the old cashier I was surprised to see him, last time I saw him he was a teenager trying to make a quick buck,
But now he looked more mature and a little tired. He looked my way and his eyes widened "well I'll be is that little y/n" he said while smiling "Greg good to see you" I responded "how have you been""I've been well I even have a little one now" my eyes widened and I smiled big "Greg that's amazing what's Thier name and how old are they?" I questioned. He blushed a bit and laughed "well remember when you were little and you said that if you could put your whole fist in your mouth that you could name my first child" he said. I looked at him with shock. "AH y/n your crying" I had little happy tears coming out of my eyes . I looked Greg dead in the eyes "when do I get to meet charity?" I asked he chuckled "same old y/n I see I'll bring her to the shop tomorrow" I almost jumped for joy "HELL YES" I yelled. The other people in the store were staring at me but I could care less. After I got what I needed and said goodbye to Greg I continued to walk around. As I was walking I didn't notice someone looking at me. I almost had a heart  attack when someone grabbed me from behind even though I was y/h (your height) and y/w (your Wight) who ever it was was able to pick you up effortlessly. "Y/N! YOUR BACK" You were shocked to hear that voice "Adam!?" You said while turning your head to see brown hair a dark blue eyes "y/n I knew you would come back I knew it!" He set me down and kissed my forehead. I was still in shock so I didn't react " I knew you would come back to marry me like you promised when we were little!" I finally snapped out of it and looked at him "w-what are you talking about" I said confused

You couldn't believe he remembered that you meant it as a way to make him go away "u-um w-well" you stuttered as you looked at him up and down. He grew up a lot since you left he was muscular and tall maybe 6'1.  "I admit he looks amazing but I don't have any feelings for him' "A-Adam about that" you started but saw his face looking at you with the sweetest smile '...fuck' "y-yup I came back to see everyone" you said internationally yelling at yourself Adam looked so happy and picked you up and spun you around. "Oh! Ok I'll see you later ok n/n" (Nick name) after saying good bye you started Walking the last bit you found yourself in front of your old childhood home you eyes darkened as you walked in you looked around and saw everything looked the same. There was a crash and I spun around
And saw the old maid look at me in shock "h-hilda" I started her eyes filled with rage "HOW DARE YOU COME BACK YOU TRAITOR" She yelled at me. I sighed and saw my sisters come in "WHY IS EVERYONE YELLING" My younger sister yelled. She looked at me and her eyes went wide. I looked at them both andy youngest sister ran up and hugged me "Y/N! YOUR BACK HOME" I bent down hugged her. "Hey Liana
How are you" I said, Diana came over and hugged us "I'm glad you back" she said I stood up and looked at the maid and she was fuming I looked her dead in the eye. I put my middle finger up and gave her a smug look. She looked outraged and Stormed off. I smiled victoriously, "Y/n", I flinched and looked up the stairs my sisters looked nervous. "H-hi mom" I said.
