Kichi No Modoru: Generation Zero

Introduction

March 2019, the country of Raidon began projecting their power over the rest of the world. Their military might is shown to the the world, showing off their ability to obliterate any nation. Their leader, Xi, was an especially annoying kind. They began pressing their so-called requests onto other countries so they would comply or suffer the consequences. Being one of the closest neighboring country to Raidon, the isles of Asami would begin to experience multiple minor conflicts with Raidon. These include fishing quarrels or even territorial disputes. 

 December 2020, a war broke out with Raidon beginning to attack Asami. Those two are separated by a large body of water so the primary fighting force consists of ships and aircraft. Asami's ally, Vrol, sends in a rather significant amount of help to their friend in need. People's Republic of Dominion who have also been harassed by Raidon began to also send in carrier strike groups to support Asamian forces. 

 July 2021, The Raidon's attacks seemed to cease, along with a ceasefire agreement between the two warring sides. They knew full well that they're evenly matched. The once countries at war and even the non combatant countries began stacking up defenses and forces for possibly the next war. 

 February 2023, Raidon strikes back, but this time with a much greater force and intensity. The countries participating in the previous war also defended with viciousness. PRD is still playing this proxy war to try and keep the war as far away from the island as possible. PRD's own ally, Trislandia, played a support role for PRD and Vrol, providing resources and manpower for the war effort. With this, Asami holds its ground, losing no land and still successfully defending.

June 2026, the war is still raging. and the air is still filled with hostility. Even with PRD's effort to keep the war as far away as possible, Raidon managed to strike. With 50% of PRD forces sent to the Asamian front, Raidon paid and weaponized some mercenaries to knock PRD out of its perch. A surprise attack ensued, and PRD's defenses were quickly overwhelmed by the numerous mercenary forces. In this battle for Dominion, the Raidon-funded mercs use nuclear weapons as if they were regular munitions. PRD was swiftly and quite literally flattened by the attack. 

 Present day, 2027, With PRD off the equation, Asami and Vrol had to rely on their own might to defeat Raidon. Trislandia who did not play an active role in the conflict was forced into a passive stance and beef up its military. Raidon has also spread its influence across the globe, gaining some countries as its followers. PRD military technology stolen and utilized, and backed by different countries, Raidon seems more powerful than ever. Now it's time... For Generation Zero.
