The situation didn’t start out too oddly. You were in your room, putting up your laptop, and when you turned around there he was, standing next to your bed. You sighed. “Hi, Bill,” you muttered. You were used to visits from the demon at this point; they had become routine over time. Though he didn’t come in human form most times. “Can I help you?”
“I dunno,” he replied, giving you a look you’d never seen on his face before. It was so strange to see it that you couldn’t tell what kind of expression it was. “You tell me.”
With that he sat himself on your bed comfortably. You rolled your eyes. “Don’t troll me, Bill. Just tell me what you want.”
Putting his head on his hands, he gave you another of those funny looks. “Tell me you can read body language,” he responded. Then he winked. At this you realized what was going on. No, you were probably delusional- in fact, you were pointlessly hopeful, if you were honest with yourself- but it was the only thing you could think of.
Before you could stop yourself you felt your face start burning up, and sure enough, you turned scarlet. Bill let out a chuckle, and from the look on his face you could tell he was reading your mind again.
“That’s what I thought,” he said with a smirk. “So? You gonna kiss me or not?”
You didn’t think it was possible for your face to turn any redder but at this blatant demand for a kiss you felt it do just that. Bill always made sure that he looked nice in human form; it wasn’t your fault you thought he looked handsome. He ensured that he did.
Dumbfounded, you stood there, completely lost and confused, until, out of nowhere, you felt something press against your lips. He was kissing you. Crap, he was kissing you.
Once his lips released yours he murmured, “Well, someone had to kiss first.” He always had an arrogant tone in his voice, and you felt guilty for finding that attractive.
You shook yourself and pushed him away. “What do you want?” you asked, suspicious. He’d never implied that he liked you at all, and he always had something up his sleeve.
“What do you mean?” he asked, still smirking.
“I mean, this is weird,” you told him. “Since when have you been attracted to me?”
Unfazed, he batted his eyelashes seductively. “Since when did it matter?”
“Since now,” you retorted. “You want something from me, don’t you?”
“Just a kiss, sweet cheeks,” he responded. “Just one. Unless, of course, you want to give me more.”
You turn pink again. Had he just called you “sweet cheeks”? Then you pulled yourself back together. “You already got a kiss,” you told him stubbornly.
“I gave a kiss,” he said. “You didn’t return it. C’mon, gimme a kiss.”
“Why?”
“Because a gorgeous guy like me is naturally gonna want to kiss a gorgeous girl like you.“
He’d just called you gorgeous. Something had to be fishy. Fine. You would indulge him for just a moment. If he’d wanted a deal he would have told you so.
You couldn’t keep yourself from feeling nervous, no matter how much you tried. Your hands shaking a bit, you clutched the collar of his shirt and glanced up into his two brown eyes, which were looking at you with desire. “Well?” he asked.
Quickly, you closed your eyes and kissed him, and you felt as if your entire face were on fire. You were going to let go hastily when you realized how enthusiastically he was returning your gesture, moving his lips against yours almost… what better word was there?… passionately. And it occurred to you that there actually might be the possibility that Bill Cipher- a demon, of all things- legitimately found you attractive.
